"So it was me and my girls 6th(?? ) anniversary today Got a bunch of different kinds of bud to smoke on all day,one was absolutely disgusting..Ihonestly thought that was impossible up until this point..my girl loved it and I gave it all to her though....it tasted and filled the room with this horrible smell of searing pork and rosemary,it may sound pleasant but I don't want my weed to taste like dinner. And it was so powerful the smallest puff coated the back of my throat with this rank meaty pork fat flavor

Had to share that...never tasted absolutely disgusting bud before..and I've had lots of meaty bud but not like that"

Lil copy paste.........yup says it all......I like some, like a meaty skunky bud

I would cry if I had grown that though

Bummer.......that sounds like some super chronic!
Your girl is a true smoker....anyone that doesnt recognise that flavor usually means extreme potency doesnt like potent weed!
Also flavors that coat the mouth and throat usually almost always are strong! Are you sure you didnt like it cause it made you so high you thought you were trippin, and couldnt find your keys, and you had a hard time communicating......!!!!!;-)

Chem D has a fermenting meat smell to it, and so do some of it's crosses. Not disgusting rotten like a dead animal, but the sweet, starting to rot smell.
Hmm. I had a tahoe og that smelled like skunk and rubber, so I know bad smells are in the mix but I have never smelled a rotten meat smell. Pretty cool to know that there is that much variability. Good stuff unequal!

I can relate to this. There are certain types of music that I aggressively dismiss, but if I'm watching a video on youtube, a movie or TV show that I'm really enjoying and it has a song from a hated genre of mine in it, but fits really, really well with what's going on, I usually end up sort of changing my opinion of the song. I believe it's along the lines of a "guilty pleasure" or something.
Yeah with music its really all about learning (i play guitar). You will enjoy music that you don't immediately like more thoroughly and for a longer period. This has happened to me repeatedly throughout my life, and in my mind our brains just love to learn new things and to be challenged and most people don't realize this. You will lose interest unless you challenge yourself. It's like everything else you learn, once you graduate to a new level you don't go back. That's just repetitive and boring. People wonder how I like jazz, but it's just the last stop in the learning cycle.

Typically amines (putrescine, cadaverine, pyrrolidines) ... generally not from a terpenoid biosynthetic pathway but by enzymatically-directed amino acid decomposition.
Late necrophilia but it seems appropriate. Does anyone have any "specifically, these are exceptions" info for why and where these scents/strains (typically with musky 'dead badger' skunks) might be found

Rotten meat terpenes? Good grief. But the thread is from 2013.

They stink and attract flies.
