The military version of the AR-15 (originally released as the M16) is an assault rifle.It has the select-fire provision.

A semi-auto-only gun of any shape or style, even if it it 99.99% congruent with a mil-issue AR but lacks the select-fire provision, is not an assault rifle.

It is an assault weapon however, since that term is redundant. The thing done with a weapon is assault. Armaments not used as weapons andor for assault are classed "armor". You're conflating my beef about the useless snarl term "assault weapon" with the misuse of an actually informative and definite term, "assault rifle".

um, i remember doing this (registering the dogs) with grandma back in the '70's.

i just got the dogs their 3 year rabies vaccine which was 39.85$, and 25$ for the county license each.
