Just to ease your mind a bit I just started 12 seedlings in a closed closet, no airflow at an avg 27% RH. Right now in my grow room its 16%RH and my plants are doing fine. Here they are today day 9 of veg. View attachment 4506068 View attachment 4506069
well it’s been 7 days since the first sprout. in the past day i stopped misting the soil and just pour some in until just a small amount runs out.
i raised the light to 30” and am hoping to see less curling of the leaves. there looks to be a good amount of root growth. i am looking forward to moving them to 1 gallon bags with the happy frog soil. not sure when to do that but these are only 2 inch cups so not a lot of space in there. next time i will start them in solo cups. i think i’ll repot them after the weekend.
the second humidifier arrives on sunday. once i have it i will run it outside the tent by the intake and start running the exhaust.
Wait until the next internode before repotting you want them to get an little root bound that's the main reason we start in small cups so that the roots spread out and not just down. Those are smaller than what I use so yes by Monday next week they should be ready.
My plan for repotting is to go from these small cups to a 1 gallon. Then finish veg in 3 gallons. Then shortly before flipping I will put them into 5 gallons. My thinking on this is that by repotting I will not need to add liquid fertilizers and can simply water throughout. If deficiencies arise I can always add some.

Honestly, skip the 1 gal and go straight to 3. Just wait til' the cups exploding with roots. Plenty of peeps here documenting full runs, large plants, being finished in 3 gals.
Now, if you wanna go up to 5 at some point you can, but the 1 gal isn't necessary if your plants at least a foot tall and got some serious roots blowin' out.
ok so i’ll move to the 3 gallon on monday or so. then a week or so prior to the flip i’ll move them to 5 gallons. im just hoping this lets me go easy on adding nutrients.
i’ll save the 1 gallon bags for whenever i start my next seedlings.

No no no..... You'll need to wait 2 maybe 3 weeks to get the roots piled up the way you'll need them to ensure good, explosive growth once transplanted.

Yes. Wait til there's roots blow in out the top of your soil in that cup. I promise you once you put it in the 3gal at that point, it will EXPLODE in growth.
i found a seed in my pipe from last night. i was smoking lava dawg from the dispensary. the seed looks totally fine on one side and slightly blackened on the other.
my gf really liked this strain and wants me to start it...sooo im gonna give it a shot.

There's a really good chance its going to turn out a hermaphrodite. You might get lucky though. Be a shame to have a tent full of it and find out 4th week of flower uts growing bananas here and there, you finish the 8 weeks and have all seeded bud.

that makes sense and i would not want that to happen. im gonna try and germinate it. then when it gets to a certain point i will move it outdoors. that’s if it even germinates; it did get slightly torched.
