I am new here :)
I want a to change my configuation
just tell me that I need for a darkroom 150 X 90 X 200
as I need it for my equipment LED panels ??

I'd want to do as the TGL-4CXB-220W of "todogrowled dot com" but made by myself with the 3590 cxb
because I saw that was better from what I have seen here

Go to page 2. there are the supra options, i check it all the day jjjjjjj
i`m going to do similar bars whit 3 x cxb 3590 cd 3500k and a MW hlg-120h-c1400. 150w but best efficiency

Ya I was stoked to find out you can reuse it indefinitely and it handles the stankiest with no problem, including trimming stank. So I have been reusing the same carbon for 3-4 years, changing it out every ~6 months. A pair of DIY scrubbers with ~1.25" thick carbon layer, just added a third for a new 4X8.

To recharge it I put it in a stainless kettle and let sit next to or on the campfire to drive most of the moisture, then hit it with the torch to drive off more VOCs. The smell that comes off it when you torch it is very strong and sticks to your clothes and skin, may want to wear a mask if you try it. Smells like a magic marker chemical type smell. If you microwave it or bake it indoors you might have a mutiny and or mutation situation.

I understand this I need to 8 cxb3590 3500k space (150 X 90 X 200) is too powerful for the space (100 X 100 X 200)?
any distance between each cxb to spread the light?

on the panel (picture 1) 80cm it says it covers 140 x 60 cm flowering.
is this property that I make the same or to two square panel and spaced in my area (90 X 150 X 200) like (pictures 2 and 3)

Hello Supra!
For some time I want to do my DIY cob bars, then I discovered RIU and it was easier (except language). I have found here a lot of information to build the best lamp. Each question had its own thread here to solve it, and always with posts by Supra with very detailed information. So I'd like to know your opinion about my setup.

I've ordered jerry:
6 x Cree CXB3590 cd 36V 3500k (& holders)
2 x MW HLG-120H-C1400B

and to TME:
3 x heat sink: L: 1000mm; W: 165mm; H: 35mm (http://www.tme.eu/es/details/rad-a4291_1000/disipadores/) that i will cut to 80cm.

My doubts are now in the heat sink:
How should i cut it?
Could put 2 or 3 cobs in each fanless?
How should I prepare the surface (I had thought sanding with sandpaper of 200, 400, 600 ... 1500)?
What do you think of the TIM applied with a brush?

The coverage, spacing and heatsink requirements would depend on how hard you run them and how much intensity you want in the canopy. I would suggest check out the heatsink thread (I will put in my sig) For growth I would recommend 5000K although it may depend on what style plants you tend to grow (stretchy or bushy)

Is that 954 for 954rr fireblade?

Nice setup, I will put the heatsink specs into the spreadsheet and post it on the heatsinks thread

You can apply TIM with a brush or dab it, will work great either way.

Mango cut, parents unknown possibly mango haze cross, 52 days of 12/12 under 25W COBs.

Huge smell, sweet over-ripe fruit flammable smell. Great potency. Slightly slow vegging, not super dense and can get some larf in the lower branches. Definitely a keeper overall.

Lookin good dude! Does a higher temp (5000k, 6500k) stop stretching over a the lower temps (3000k, 3500k)? I had this straight a while ago but I was talking to my friend about those 3590 6500k DD bin and confused myself. More blue = less stretch?

Holy shit Sup, I always knew it could be recharged but I thought it had to be done in some industrial oven. Thank you, thank you, thank you :hug:. I hate paying for shipping to get new carbon and this is going to make my decade. And 52 day Mango is always a keeper. Larf or no larf :). Peace!
