Bernie Sanders is not a fool. Sanders has some good ideas.

Right. Wanting politicians to work on behalf of their constituents instead of their corporate overlords is totally anarchist!

Politicians can not do anything unless they are elected. Sanders took money from corporate interests.

"Senator Sanders took about $200,000 from Wall Street firms," Clinton said, speaking to a crowd at the community college. "Not directly but through the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee. There is nothing wrong with that. It didn't change his view. Well, it didn't change my view or my vote, either."

You’ve made your position clear. You’re fine with politicians that are on the dole...that tell you what you want to hear, and then tell their corporate backers something completely different in private. There are a lot of folks, myself included, that are not OK with that though.

I give zero shits what you do with your vote, or who you support. You on the other hand have it in your head that everyone else should think, and vote exactly how you do. It doesn’t work that way, no matter how much you stomp your feet.

Are you happy Trump got elected?

Uh-huh. That insanity quote that you keep saying sure seems like a pretty shallow understanding of politics to me. It reads more like "if you don't get what you want, start panicking and listening to increasingly nonsensical people."
So tell us about any part of his started positions in the issues that you disagree with.

It seems awfully suspiciously popular to bash Bernie these days, in spite of the fact that what he stands for would be more beneficial to average Americans than the started positions of any other Senator.

And you call Bernie backers out of touch?

Not bashing Sanders
It's you I have a problem with. Your actions helped Trump win.

Getting histrionic again. No, people aren't bashing Sanders. They bash people who claim today's problems or lack of progress caused by Republican obstruction were the fault of Democrats. We just don't like people spreading right wing lies.

Sanders policies are OK, we just want to see social justice issues included in the package of economic goodies that you want the wealthy to pay for. You know, things that would address Black Lives Matters issues and tighten regulations on same pay for the same work.

I have no problem with Bernie. This has already been said but I have a problem with many of the people who support him and their penchance for being as bad as the alt-right in their comprehension and understanding of politics. The article you posted is a weak opinion piece written by people who are mad about their incomes being diminished - so pure.

You are being played like a fiddle by those you most detest. It is kind of sad. I have two hopes; there are either not enough of you to matter, or you will come to your senses eventually. I find the former more likely.

The only things I can even be accused of "bashing" Bernie about is the fact that he has had a long career in the Congress and has little to show for it as far as concrete achievements. Nevertheless, I like the guy. I suspect he is probably as mortified by some of his followers as we all are.
