Every Co. is different. Most just have the State HR420 standard. That is what we have in Santa Clara. But, some try to get into how much wattage you can have and square feet you can have. The number of plants, is moot, under 99 (Federal), and cannot withstand appeal to the 9th circuit. They have already ruled that HR420 cannot say the needs of people...so it is only a guideline.

The weather at each end of the Bay is practically the same, except it is more cold and rainy north of SF. But, what is not shown is the Local Heat.

Is Siskyou Co, they are ranchers and do not want Pot Farming. So, they citizens are against you, activity harrass you, trespass, threaten, all that. And they only have 1 clinic in the entire Co. Many allow no clinic, even still. This is SELF RULE.

Inland cities that prohibit medical marijuana dispensaries include San Bernardino, Murrieta, Temecula, Moreno Valley, Corona, Norco, Hemet, San Jacinto and Redlands. Riverside and San Bernardino counties also ban them in unincorporated areas.

San Francisco: Patient and caregiver ID cards issued by county Health Department; no patient guidelines. Case by case consideration, generally contingent on police claims of indicia of illegal sales or diversion to non-medical market. Patient guidelines adopted in 2005 set the immunity threshold at 24 plants/patient plus 8 oz, with a 25 sq. ft. canopy, and 99 plants per collective.

i lived in solano county for years in my youth, the climate is excellent for growing cannabis outdoors, good land is fairly cheap if you dont mind being off the grid, outside the urban core of vallejo the crime rate is practically nonexistent (almost all the crime is concentrated in vallejo, like a swollen pustule, ready to burst) but there are NO JOBS, and the local PD treats people who get caught growing dope like their personal Gimps.

solano county's main problem is one of focus and perception, the politicians want the cities to be perceived as urbane sophisticated centers of culture, while the PEOPLE are a mix of rural country folk, with a few densely populated pockets of urbanization.

the county's infrastructure is NOT urban, but the pols have been trying to eliminate the rural folks and the farmers for decades with inane regulations and retarded laws.

conversely, napa county is just as rural, without the crazy attempts to eliminate agriculture, and yet are perceived as being an urbane and sophisticated county. ohh this chaps the hides of solono county's SF transplants.

the county has a few assholes who want to transform it into a gentrified enclave of artist communities, and B&B's, like a poor man's Napa, but they just SUCK at it.

the land is good, the climate is good, the cost of living is far lower than most of the bay, and if you can avoid official scrutiny, the dope growing potential is excellent.

So, so true. Self Rule sucks. But, unlike everything else, if you treat her right, she will actually give you a good sucking, from time to time. And she will let suckle, the ones she likes, as well.

Everything else, just blows. :)
