ONOES!!! ofrced to strip naked????

held in solitary confinement?

lights on 24/7???

somebody hasd never been to jail here in the USA apparently.

first you get fingerprinted and photographed
then YOU GET STRIPPED NAKED and somebody checks your orifices for evidence and contraband (and weapons)
then you go into lockup ALONE to await your interrogation (wow no co-conspirators, so you cant get your story straight? must be torture)
the lights NEVER go out
it's always fucking cold, or balls hot.
it stinks like puke, shit, and fear-urine
the food sucks.
the guards are hardly friendly
you dont get a koran bible or a copy of the buddhist sutras
when they do get around to "questioning" you they use lies, intimidation and not a small amount of physical "discomfort" and the promise of a long stay in a small cell with a HUGE and sexually depraved cellmate to squeeze info out of you.

man, we torture EVERYBODY.
These things happen because gringos are too scared to kill the prison guards and police that play these games with them. If you grew some balls and took control of your country and made the country fear you, this treatment would not exist.

Do you have any idea how many different people would die if a guard at Villahermosa were to get out of line with a prisoner? He would of course, but also his family and any of his friends if they could be found.

The guards have a different attitude in Colombia. They know they will be killed along with their families if they insult the wrong person. This brings a great deal of respect towards the prisoners from the guards. They have learned over time through the deaths of many others what not to do.

The guards in the US have not learned this lesson yet because your criminals are not well organized and thus not well protected when they enter your system.

It would only take perhaps a dozen or so guards and their families to die before they changed their behavior.

90% are part of one organization or another. Either drug related or para-military so the umbrella that protects them is very large. Even the lower ranking members are under this protection because it keeps the peace among the organization. If someone is insulted or taken advantage of and the jefe does nothing, he loses credibility and risks assassination.

It's like this in Brazil too. It's pretty crazy. The prison is run similar to what you see in favelas in Rio.

we are not talking about jail in the US, especially not any prison you'd be familiar with.

Mass administration of the antimalarial drug mefloquine to Guantánamo detainees: a critical analysis.

Abstract

Recently, evidence has emerged from an unusual form of mass drug administration practised among detainees held at US Naval Station Guantánamo Bay, Cuba ('Guantánamo'), ostensibly as a public health measure. Mefloquine, an antimalarial drug originally developed by the US military, whose use is associated with a range of severe neuropsychiatric adverse effects, was administered at treatment doses to detainees immediately upon their arrival at Guantánamo, prior to laboratory testing for malaria and irrespective of symptoms of disease. In this analysis, the history of mefloquine's development is reviewed and the indications for its administration at treatment doses are discussed. The stated rationale for the use of mefloquine among Guantánamo detainees is then evaluated in the context of accepted forms of population-based malaria control. It is concluded that there was no plausible public health indication for the use of mefloquine at Guantánamo and that based on prevailing standards of care, the clinical indications for its use are decidedly unclear. This analysis suggests the troubling possibility that the use of mefloquine at Guantánamo may have been motivated in part by knowledge of the drug's adverse effects, and points to a critical need for further investigation to resolve unanswered questions regarding the drug's potentially inappropriate use.

Speaking of prisons, the US is currently expanding its bases in Columbia and will be building 2 new facilities known as SOCSOUTH. The stated mission of these facilities is as follows;

“the use of small units in direct or indirect military actions that are focused on strategic or operational objectives”

enjoy regime change

Well, you are missing the central fact, that he is not really expressing. There are no ordinary prisons as we know them. Presumed guilty, I believe and expected to confess for something and go in there.

But, in there, the prison is not run by the guards. The inmates in fact, run it, from top to bottom. The guards are there to keep the perimeter.

No one gets food, clothing, shelter, or not beaten to death, unless El Jefe, say so. So, new rules of macho apply and ordinary is a pure accident. If that accident is an ordinary gingo....well, perhaps a deadly accident may happen...or worse. That is entirely up to your shot callers. There is no prison punishment, no rules of the prison, that the guards make you follow. The guards better stick to their turf.

There is only the hierarchy of inmates and harsh punishment for breaking strict rules, you know nothing about.

Uncle Joe's place is a resort, with order and safety, compared to any prison South of the Border.

but wealthier than the average American citizen in your country. The US prison system is your system and filled with cowards just like your population. You lay down and take your punishment like dogs from those in authority over you. This is cowardice and nothing more. You are slaves and have been for generations. You would last a day at most in a Colombian prison before you were dead or forced to suck dick for money to keep yourself alive.

LOL the average per capita income in Columbia is $11,000 per year, in the USA it is $50,700 per year. https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/fields/2004.html

You must be related to Uncle Buck in the math department.

Keep deluding yourself that Columbia is anything but a stinky 3rd world country.

In your own country Colombians earn more than 61.000 a year. 20% more than gringos. That is a HUGE percentage.

Colombians protesting Monsanto and showing the force of the people.

Colombian Monsanto Protest.jpg

You want to know why they cower? They know if the bring out their guns, then the people throw grenades and it escalates from there. This protest shut down a city of 7.000.000, a city of 3.000.000 and a city of 2.000.000. All for the poor farmers who the people did not know but love because they are COLOMBIAN. You turn your backs on each other every day. You have no nationalism. You are hated by the world and no matter how you puff out your chests like a proud rooster, you are not as strong as you think you are. Iraq and Afghanistan showed you that.

Your link is a PDF saying that Latinos were the most numerous race in poverty in New York, no where does it say they are making an average of $61,000 a year.

FAILURE!!!
You should really learn to read. They do teach people how to do that in the US no? Or are you just another lazy American wanting someone to do all their work for them? Your failure word reeks of laziness. Let me guess, only a high school graduate?

Perhaps you could point me to the specific page where this information is at, or don't and prove you are full of shit.

I am not coming to live the dream gringo. I am coming to make money and keep my family together while my daughter attends her undergraduate school. We will not be there long and in the time we are there we will be more productive than you have in your lifetime.

I would never give my allegiance to the US. Your people only know hate and that is not the Colombian way.
