I believe the bags work- just today I decided to open 2 of them- emptying them- adding clean damp coco and putting some of the mycelium back on top. I took a small trash pale with the 2 large chunks of mycelium waste back into the room intentionally under my CO2 meter. In under a minute the reading went up 80 points. It has that earthy mushroom smell. So they are positively giving off CO2 constantly as advertised.
My room is usually around 700 with 3 bags in a 12x 14 room
I will add another for flowering and expect levels around 800. Anything over 400 is a bonus- over 1100 likely not necessary.
I see no reason it won’t keep growing on new coco and should be able to be used perpetually by adding new medium every 6 months or so.

I removed the garbage can and it went right back down in 45 minutes-

Unless you have a sealed tight room supplemental co2 is a waste, even if you were sealed (you’re not) those mycelium culture bags are not doing much.

to seal a room you get rid of the carpet, you put down a vapor barrier and lay over some laminate flooring, you caulk your edges(ceilings and wall) around the window too. You need air conditioning, humidifier, dehumidifier a whole bunch of shit.

best advice I can give is keep it simple. Unless you’re pushing light and feed really hard and your environment is completely dialed in co2 is a waste.

20 ounces from 1 plant last round with buds so large they would not fit into the 1 quart jars-
I am happy with my results-
I hope you are happy with yours.

I did a test..... C02 was 605 in my tent this afternoon. Took the meter out and placed it just outside the room, 760 ppm. I'll leave it there and check the logs after a few days.

Grow tents are not 100% sealed nut neither is any grow really. Always the exhaust and fresh air. But I will say you can turn the fans off for like thirty minutes and spray some co2 nut c02 does cause heart to rise

I have the ac infinity 5 x 5 and it's honestly pretty damn airtight. Of course it isn't 100% but prior I had a janky ass double visclean wrapped tent and it leaked at the exact same rate. Which wasn't much. And if I burned a candle in the room outside the tent it drastically reduced the amount of CO2 leakage

Are you joking about the candle, I have my tent in the garage and lighting a candle inside the tent as tempting as as it is for me, I just see the house going down in a ball of flames thinking about it, so does it really help lighting a candle outside the tent?

It was an extremely noticeable difference. I went from leaking/dropping 100ppm per minute ish to like 15 a minute. My theory is the candle burning outside the tent created an equilibrium(or more of one rather) of CO2. My room is pretty small and sealed in general but I had the candle about 3 feet away from the tent in an area surrounded by concrete so no real fire hazard. I would never burn one inside the tent due to whatever else it's releasing by burning. But I guess that's not super far off from a co2 generator so who knows.

I just remembered that dry ice is frozen carbon dioxide. drop that in an ice chest to protect the ladies while it melts and releases the carbon. win.
