And open the windows too..
I've got a genetic disorder that keeps me from spending money. I inherited it from Mamma.

I keep the AC at the riverhouse set on 90F. The last few camp nights it was running when I got down there about dark thirty. I take a cold shower before bed. With two fans on me and the window open, it's not too bad. But I can't wait until I have to wrap up again.

Eh down here I usually wait till it hits the lower 80's with night temperature in the 50's...then the windows come open...then it's relaxing

. . . . . . . . . . I can see how much y’all hate conservatives. Should get y’all far in life.
We don't hate real conservatives. All they are doing is trying to keep the advantages they have. Hell, I do the same thing. But we are worried about what the GOP have done the last few years. They seem to want power for power's sake with no underlying belief system. As this thread points out, climate change is the biggest problem we are facing. No one really expects politicians to actually help. But it would be nice if they didn't actively try to hinder progress.

Our lows are in the 70's most nights. And the river is spring fed, so there is a cool breeze. But yea, 50's are nice.

I've done some sections of the Florida Trail in July before. The little squares in your sleep pad fills up with sweat. (my trail name is DA for dumb ass because of me being the only one stupid enough to be on the trail in those situations)

Everybody gets fucked by this, but those rural folks who vote republican, fuck themselves the most, it is they who will be impacted by climate change the most and places like Florida will only have fish voting one day. How will that work with an underwater state and two senators? We don't need no stinkin climate change liberal woke bullshit!

Let's talk about why the cost of beef will go up....

The Sandhill is about 120 feet above sea level. Will be a while yet.

It's sand and with the first hurricane and there will be dandies, it will wipe sandhill and it's two senators away. By then much of the deep south including parts of Texas will be under water too and hurricanes a constant threat for miles inland. Long before that though, it will be impossible to get insurance in places like Miami and people will blame the democrats because the republicans changed the history books, at least that's the plan!
