Going through them now, pretty boring so far but I figured someone here might like to read

https://wikileaks.org/cia-emails/

One question for the greater RIU community... Did anyone not know the government could read every electronic communication at will?

I knew of a guy who went down with lots o coco and they had transcripts in court of Nextel 2 way communications between him and his brother... No recording device attached to either end... This was circa 1998..

I got my first cell phone somewhere around then and always was sooooooo terrified and careful even in high school. We had stupid code words for everything and deleted old calls and used pay phones when we really needed to talk... It was just known... And we were just dumb kids.. Idk if my small town just had an incedent right at the perfect time to imprint on all of us or what but for real when Edward snowden showed up me and everyone I know was like "uhhh... Duhhh"

Not saying it's good/bad either... I'm a bit torn on It all..

On one side I like privacy... On the other side I also like safety... Sooo I think about it like this... I am faaaarrrrrr from perfect... If The amount of shit that had taken place on my phone/cpu's over the years hasn't elicited a knock from the MIB then idk what will... For a few years in my early 20's when I was reallllyy angry about bush and religion and all kinds of dumb nonsense I spent my days exploring pretty much everything that should raise a red flag. The cookbook in every shape/form I could find.. I edited music/videos for anti government artists. I started recording and producing music for some pretty radical thinkers.... I may of even recorded a song or 2 myself... All this very much online..

Point being.. If they are inept at their jobs... I would of gotten an interview or 2.. But me just being an angry millennial in my early twenties I probably just landed on an analysts desk every now and again and never warranted a full blown investigation... That to me shows that they are adept at their jobs..

The whole ex boyfriend breaking into his ex girlfriends phone and stealing nudes thing.... Well that'll happen anywhere there's power granted... Some asshole will abuse it.. You should hear some of the stories I've heard from guys that work in the CPU repair field... Lol

Yes I have been aware of the NSA having copies of every communication since 1996. A Ma Bell employee turned whistle blower back then about the NSA's little black box that was installed at the main fiber hub in NY where all network traffic is ran through. This was long before Eddie.
In fact I can't prove it but I have been told by a friend who worked as a cryptologist for the navy that the NSA has been getting copies of every negative you or I have ever sent to those little booths back in the 70's and 80's to get our pictures done, and has had a file on every single citizen since!

See I've heard other stories like this too all pre 2000. cnn and Fox News would have you think no one knew and they ran the snowden story like it was the reveal of the century...

This is why I believe snowden is "controlled opposition"... If "Eddie" keeps blabbing on about irrelevant stuff no one asks the real questions...

Idk what the real question is either.. Just saying.. I smell a distraction with snowden

I think there are two reasons for all the clueless sheep. First and foremost, everyone knows everything (think they're educated) yet most cannot even begin to truly understand the technology they use (the applied sciences) no less espionage or the law. Second is that those ringing the bells about domestic espionage issues are often wingnuts (left and right) ringing bells about a whole host of other ideological "conspiracy theories" that lack credibility.

Rofl... He just did an interview with Neil Degrassi Tyson for his podcast and instead of phoning it in he used this robot that attaches to an iPad and can be controlled remotely and he drove it right into Neil's office lol... Neil basically had to talk to an iPad mounted on a Segway with eds face on it lol.. That makes me crack a smile for whatever reason.. Dudes got a sense of humor I reckon..
