Child Custody Battle

So choosing not to means I didn't really want to? That's bullshit, and and illogical way to win this argument.

Why don't I start arguing back that way? Instead of accepting your words as your argument, I'll tell you what you REALLY think and believe, because I KNOW what YOU think better than you -- I know, it sounds assenine, but that's pretty much what you're saying when you say "you obviously didn't want to smoke weed" after i just said I did.

You think Zeke would be an excellent daddy. I know you didn't say that, but I choose to put those words in your mouth, just like you want to do to me.
Im sry explain to me how you wanted to smoke weed, but you waited? That makes no sense unless you were a perfect child, never disobeying your parents.

I think he could be a good daddy. Most of his post's that I read wouldn't be anything a good father would say, to me atleast..

I know addiction very well, just cant get past the MJ addiction. I love mary jane to much. She's part of my life.

Weed isnt physically addicting. Thats not even the type of addiction im talking about. The addiction to being under a substance that is mild altering.
These are the types of statements that led me to my conclusion. :peace:

I wasn't a perfect child, just a logical one. I knew I couldn't smoke weed at my house. So I would have to smoke weed away from my house.

The only times I was away from my house were when I was at school, and when I would go out with friends...which wasn't extremely often when I was younger.

I had chores. And homework. I wasn't allowed to go out if these things weren't done. My step dad worked graveyard shifts, and my mom came home about the time he was leaving for work. So there was someone around to know if we just fucked off.

When I went out, I knew I'd be coming home. If I came home fucked up, my parents would know. Shit, I walked in the door laughing once, all giddy, and my step dad thought I had been drinking and I got the interrogation.

So that would leave school. Knowing what I knew about weed, knowing how it affected people I knew were stoners, and knowing what my parents told me about how it would affect ME...I knew that if I got high at school, I would not be able to concentrate on school.

First of all, I wasn't allowed to get anything lower than a B. If my grades started slipping because I was getting high at school and fucking off, they would have noticed right away and handled it.

Secondly, I knew that my education was important. I knew I wanted to go to college, and I knew my grades were important. So I CHOSE to make the smart decision for myself, for my LIFE, because that's what it comes down to. It's MY life, if I chose to fuck off during high school and make things harder on myself, I would have no one to blame but myself.

So I made the choice. It wasn't easy, a lot of my friends were stoners, and they might not have pressured me, but it was there, and I wanted to try it. I'm a very strong minded person though, I'm not ruled by my desires.

Is that so hard to believe or understand? Seems very simple to me.

word on that. Take it or leave it. If your kids smoking the reefer young, i know the road he's going to go down. It isnt fun. It isnt easy. If its right at his fingertips already, it'll be easy. Especially the way the world is now. Thats all im saying. From a fuck up child, to a father. Be careful what you do, on the thought on drugs now a days are different than when you were young, its not uncommon now for kids to take pharmaceuticals ever before a their first beer or a bongload.

I don't think it was ever mentioned that his child smokes or is ever going to smoke weed. That is not the issue of this thread.

Zeke, I hope all goes well for you. Keep us posted.:peace:

It sounds like an average teen life, but if you really wanted to smoke you would have done it. Either coming home high, or sleeping over at a friends or something. Thats great you were concerned about your future and didnt. You were wise enough and cared more about that then weed.. Im talking from this generation. I graduated highschool in 2006. Lucky I cared about my future to and got into Cal Poly. Drug dealing as a kid made me an entrepreneur type person.

THIS generation? I graduated 2003...a whole 3 years before you. We could have been in high school together. So that doesn't work as an excuse.

And once again, you're trying to say I didn't really want to because I chose not to. That's not a logical argument.

People choose not to do things they want to do all the time. It's part of being an adult.

Only children HAVE to do what they WANT to do.

Why waas 18 the age its finally ok to smoke? Everyone is different than you. If you wanted to get high, you would have. You cared more about your future and made a great decision. Im not saying that you didnt want to, Im just saying it wasn't much of a priority , or you would have. Were the fuck is the huge argument going. All I was trying to say is that smoking around children is a childish thing to do. Grow up and raise you kid away from drugs.

You continue to try to use the same illogical argument.

Everyone is different PERIOD, from me, and from you.

Just because you were a fuck up, doesn't mean Zeke will let his kid be one.
Zeke doesnt have the power to. The kid will do what ever they want. If they are homosexual, they are homosexual. You cant change that. You cant make the decisions for them either. They will be a fuck up if they choose to make wrong decisions. Growing up around medical marijuana isnt safe. Its basically legal drug dealing. Would you send your child to a daycare, that grew medical marijuana.? I dont think so. Its not a favorable environment to raise a child around weed. If you want them coming out somewhat stable

It's not true that a kid will do what ever they want. A kid will do whatever they want if you allow them to. As a parent, you have the power to control your child until they are 18.

I don't know why you would even bring homosexuality up. Smoking weed is a CHOICE. Being homosexual is NOT. Like you said, if they are homosexual, they are homosexual.

Kid's aren't BORN fuck ups. Sometimes they're created, and sometimes they're just allowed to become fuck ups, but no one is a born fuck up.

Kids tend to do the opposite of their parents. We were long hairs, our son can't stand for his hair to even touch his ears.

You can teach and tell but in the end they're going to do whatever the hell they want, they're like people that way.
