Have you ever DONE hard drugs? I can't believe that you have, because if you HAD, you would realize that there is a HUGE difference between using hard drugs, and even alcohol, as compared to using marijuana.

wow bch are you kidding me? I was addicted to opiates by the time I was 16. Fucking smoking up those oxy's, railing a ball of blow to my dome by 18. I was so fucking addicted I would be taking methadone's and methadoses at school puking between periods in the garbage can. I know addiction very well, just cant get past the MJ addiction. I love mary jane to much. She's part of my life. I dont even care about the negative effects.

Weed isnt physically addicting. Theres a huge line between addiction to Mj and say addiction to heroin. Thats not even the type of addiction im talking about. The addiction to being under a substance that is mild altering. Im just saying, dont smoke, let you child stay away from drugs as possible, becasue no matter what the fuck you do, they will if they want. And If you do, how the fuck can you be a parent enforce it, if your doing it? I think your creating a disaster child by smoking while you rise a kid. Do it other places. And I have to ask, you said you were doing all that shit by 16, where were your parents? Did they not know? Not care? Not savy enough to be able to tell? Because my mom would have FUCKED ME UP.

Maybe I was just raised very differently. I feared and respected my step dad and my mom (more fear for the step dad and more respect for the mom...). My mom was very smart, everything I could THINK about doing, she's already been there, done that, went back and did it again. She would have KNOWN if I were using drugs. She would have knocked me on my ass.

Even smoking weed, my parents had no problem telling me that I couldn't. Sometimes parents just have to lay down the law. "Do as I say, not as I do."

The day I turned 18 I left. I didnt respect my parents, not that they were bad parents, I was cought up in drugs, and the me phase. Thank god I wasnt a complete fuck up and somewhat cared about my education. Im just saying weed is bad for young developing people and it will change them. And not for the good.

I didn't get GROUNDED, lol, I didn't get things taken away. I just got my ass kicked. It worked very well as a deterrent.

There may really be no point in us continuing this going back and forth. I think we were raised very differently, and it obviously gave us two very different outlooks on life. I'm also a girl, and I've always been mature for my age, so I was probably a lot more grown up at 16 than you were.

I'm not saying that to put you down or anything, I just mean...girls usually mature faster, and I was forced to mature even more quickly than normal because of things that happened in my life. At 16 I took life a lot more seriously than most 20 year olds.

I'm not trying to say you're WRONG. Because of the life you lived, this is just the way you think. I'm just trying to show you the point that not everyone is the same, not everyone's parents are the same as yours...

I have watched friends be addicted to marijuana, and out of all the drugs in the world, it's the easiest to kick- but you're gonna have to root out the problem inside yourself as to why you feel you need to get high to escape.
