Guys dolomite lime DOES NOT lower PH. It is for increasing the PH of acidic soils. It is not neutral ph. It will not lower 7.5 PH soil to 7.0. He's going to need to get gypsum or sulfur to lower his PH. I honestly have no idea how this myth keeps going around. Do some research on dolomitic/dolomite lime and stop perpetuating bad information.
These people had no clue what to do lmaoooooo lime to bring the ph down lmao

DO WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Ph in soil certainly DOES matter!!! BUT, it's not as critical as in a hydro set-up. You can get nute lock-out in soil just like in Hydroponics, but soil is much more forgiving of such things.
He's at 7.0-7.5. I wouldn't particularly sweat 7.0 too bad, but 7.5 definitely needs adjusting. I'm just surprised that his nutes don't make the soil more acidic on their own because generally in soil you encounter the exact opposite problem (ie. soil becomes too acidic over time). :peace:
In my AZ town. It's 6.5 outa the tap. But onceI use it my soil jumps to 7. Tried 5.0 flushing in 48 hours it was back to 7.0.
I tried vinegar and after that molasses they were temporary short fixes.

I know this is an old thread but I'm hoping you figured it out and I can use your knowledge.
