landraces dont produce so much though do they, well as i understnd it, im going to have to spend £80 a month, just to run my smaller 400watt light, so im looking for a heavy yealder, im not too bothered about longer flowering as people will pay good money for a good sativa buzz
The difference between what you see in a 70s issue of High Times and what's grown today is that modern strains can handle commercial veg nutes. Put Blue Dream up against an old OG. Look at all the old pics, you'll see similar differences. You see the same deficiencies/toxicities as anyone growing a Sativa today. Downward curled leaves, blue-gray color etc.

Skip the veg nutes. Foliar spray the correct trace minerals to increase flowering hormone. Provide warm nights and proper phloem nute profile. Old ugly 20 week Sativa is now much more like dense smelly 10 week indica.

Don't believe me, then count the burnt tips on modern indica strains. Every single tip on every single grow you see... Sativa never had a chance against the calnit mershweed con pesticide craze. Even the indicas today smell like milk and cookies instead of dank weed. From breeding with mersh veg nute profiles that ruin plants health.

Flip at 12”-14”. Since you’re having to ask. No taller than 18”.

2nd the Kali Mist. Although I got seeds from 2010 serious seeds. Apparently it’s the not the original cut but I think it’s fire!

Tastes like red peppers and herbs and gets you flying for 3-4hrs.

Although my plants produced a horrendous dog shit aroma during flowering. Something to note on odour control lol

I've been growing " Chocolope " ( rated at 90% + ) for last couple of years . Love it !
I get shitloads done ! Indica puts me in the fetal position.
I have some of this to run in my seed pile too. Maybe not next, but soon. I think I'm pretty much running 2 longer growing sativas per year...I did some shorter runs and I just don't have the need to churn and bank so much...so longer and less is good as long as what grows is decent.

Back in the days of my clandestine basement growing I ran Chocolope alongside Master Kush for about 3 years before I shut down. I really enjoyed that strain. I crossed it with the Master Kush and that was really good as well. I called it Chocolate Kush and it predated many of the Chocolate Kush's out there today.
