C-99 Grow Log

I am too lazy to check my book, but I think I'm on day 29 of flower right now.

The girls just got a feeding at 1300ppm with PBP, Sweet, Liquid Karma, and their first dose of Hydroplex. The pH going in was 6.6 and coming out was 6.3, so we are doing well there.

I think I have gotten the mites under control with some Co2 bombs, pyrethrins, some neem, and a hot shots no pest strip. I figured I better hit em hard before they get me.

Enjoy the pics.

Thanks for the kind words.

I hear that the pink hairs come from a difference in the pH. I water with my pH about 6.6-7.0. I believe a lower pH is what brings out the pink hairs. I am too worried about getting colors in this strain, I have my Purple Urkel for color.

Where did you get your C-99 from? I got mine from a member on another forum. I was told they were from the original Bros Grimm stock, and bred to F4's.

Here is some updates. I've been a bit lazy so I haven't posted pics in a bit.

I ran out of the PBP and the hydro shop is not open 7 days a week here, so I had to water with FF Tiger Bloom as my base nute this watering.

I watered at about 1000ppm and a pH of 6.6 this last round. The plants are finishing up very quickly. I think I will be starting my flush here pretty quick. It looks like they will be finishing in like 50 days or so.

Looks like we are getting close to the end.

On Tues, they got about 1gal each of plain water, and the run off was like 1000ppm. I was lazy and didn't pH the water, so it went in at like 7.75.

Then on Fri, I started the flush. I watered each plant with 3gal of water with Flora Kleen pH'd to 6.4. The run off PPM was like 600, so by next watering, the PPMs should be down around 300 or so. And by the time I harvest, it should be nice and clean.

This plants are freakin' stinky!! The second I open the cab, I am hit with a fresh, fruity aroma. The nugs are so dense, one of the plants spit right down the stalk. I had to tie all the colas up to the ceiling to keep the others from breaking and duct taped the hell out of the stalk. Some of the nugs were bending down so much they were almost touching the ground.

I only have the one pic of the broken stem. I was all impressed with the bending stems and broken stalk, I was going to take a bunch of pics, but stalks were cracking as I was taking pics and buds were in the soil. I didn't want to lose the plants just to take some pics ;-)

Let me know what you guys think. That second to last pic was taken as my HPS was turning on and warming up. Its kind of crazy how you can see the blue in the pic, but not with your eye.

Thanks.

I've been too lazy to take any harvest pics. I was happy with the yeild per plant, about 2 1/2 oz each, but I only had 4 plants, so I am not too happy with the total yeild. I had to pull 2 of the plants because of mites, so my harvest was not that great.

The smoke is awesom. 2 of the plants taste and smell like grapefruit, and the other smells like cake batter and tastes great. Super stony and great taste. This has turned out to be one of my favorite strains. I will definetly be keeping this one around for a while.

Thanks for the compliments. I gotta get some finished product pics up, but I am being too lazy.

It was actually grown in Ocean Forest soil. They were all from seed, vegged for about 6 weeks or so. The plants ended up like 3 1/2 ft tall, but I tied them down. They were about 12" when they went into flower, and all topped once.

I flowered them in 3gal pots. They went into flower at about 12" and finished at about 3 1/2 ft. I LST'd them though, so they were only about 2 1/2 ft tall when bent. I have never tried the super cropping, I just top my plants once.
