By the rules

Was wonder when the state considers my clones a plant ? is it when I take the cutting or when root s pop or what? noot sure if even they know?!

I get roots in 10 days on avg and let em sit for atleast another week till I get ready . Wondering about taking huge clones would better suit my needs hmmm.

In court I don't think it would matter rooted or not. I wouldn't take chances going over based on that premise.

As if late I agree with cash crops. I've made sure to stay far enough under my numbers so I can have room for cuttings. I don't wanna fight out semantics with a prosecutor.

Its a plant for the love of god . Would we be under this same opression if you could turn a buck on a ficus ? I played Cops and Robbers but never Cops and Farmers !!!

Here's another good one full of all kinds of regulations. Basically you wanna turn a profit doing anything you gotta pay up.

You ever try to be a carpenter?,or any skilled trade really. Gotta jump through 100 hoops just to get to the job and then you pay out 30 minutes of every hour to the union and taxes. Shit sucks but its just how we roll. Just plan accordingly and don't over extend yourself and you can make a very nice living by playing by the "rules"

I know I sound like some fucking 1984 robot but these regulations are put into place (in theory) to protect against people from being able to truly take advantage of the market and flip whole economies upside down. Non regulation leads to major problems eventually. Someone try's to go so big they kill all the wild life in the Great Lakes cause they spilled a truckload of fulvic acid or somethin worse. Someday we will find the happy middle. I hope anyway.

Man HGK, you are not only a great gardener but a cool cat, ya do a good job helping people. Just thought you should know.

Hopefully one day soon, which I believe will be sooner than later, all of this will be a distant memory. Old adage it takes money to make money is a truism.

No rules are good for us, just ask Wall street . You see where they got us. Funny you mention it I am a Union Carpenter lol ,

Ya Wall Street is a great example of letting shit go unregulated. And lol you know then what it's like!

Check this craziness out http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2203467/A-real-treasure-island-Small-land-mass-housing-shanty-town-heart-battle-prime-fishing-waters.html

Word has it the fish in the area arnt even worth actually fishing for anymore cause they all got fished out by migingo. All it would of taken would of been a few rules there and it would of been a lucrative/helpful spot for a long long time. Instead they overfished it and drove down the price of fish and passed herpes to each other on some shitty rock lol!

I wanna know how to be the guy that gets paid to let other people do shit lol that's the career I want.

Thanks I don't know that I truly deserved either of those compliments but when one is as short on kind words as I am you take what you can get !

We've all heard the tales of someone hitting it big with a grow and being good from there. But that's lottery stuff. The chance of succeeding without getting caught is as good as winning the lotto really now a days.

Compare it to carpentry. When you first pick up a hammer your not gonna make a million dollars. But after many years and lots of things learned you know who to pay so you can do what you have to in order to maximize profit. Once you have all the proper palms greased and all the proper equipment your allowed to make a million. But only if you pay a % in to the system as you go. It's all insanity really and I just think we notice it more cause of our tendencies to think outside the box when consuming our produce :eyesmoke:

A humble guy ya are HGK. Praise is a good thing and deserving.

Hey, come later towards November I will be chopping some Bodhi gear. I need to make an online journal based off my weekly notes and pictures. How are those silver mountains? Find a special lady?

I must say I think I'm going to have at least a couple winners. The trichome coverage on just the fan leaves out performed all my Dutch ceed plants so I dropped em all. Kinda going for the SSDD butter cut. Hope the one outlier pheno may be it. Plus I think you said something about 303s apex. How is that going?

If ya ever want a cut after you see anything let me know. Little detail but just read wondering

I didn't end up catching the Apex in time. I sent ya a pm bout the silver mountains. And about some newer special ladies!

To really answer the question for the OP, i don't believe there is anything written into the law about when a cutting is considered a new plant. This would then be up to police for an arrest and the courts for prosecution.

Please someone correct me if i am wrong (written law, not your opinion).

Now that I think about it I only ever heard about the roots popping thing when I worked in the shops. Alot of people going to those Danny t classes and whatnot always had the new scoop. That just kinda was what everyone said and I guess I never really did see it actually in writing. Would be nice of someone to clarify this for sure.

Exactly! I've read the same bullshit on these forums a million times but never once seen it written in MMMA laws, and i've read every word of it...

To my knowledge it is undefined.

I can't recall the legal brief but there was a case I read in which clones were considered plants as they have roots.

This isn't opinion And I do feel ya as this can cause problems within my own plant count. If you wanna find out I suggest talking to an attorney as they can cite president for your.

ETA it wasn't a MI Supreme court case but an appeals ruling. Yes I'm a bit of a nerd and enjoy reading legal b briefs for fun. I once wanted to be an attorney.
