Hey guys, iv jst harvested a single out door plant, dry weight was 5.5 oz pretty happy with it however had to go away for work when drying in a cardboard box with a fan at the bottom and venting at the top, come home to quite dry buds, however they are sticky AF!, tried some fruits last night and am quite pleased. I guess my question is for presentation sense is there anything I can do to try to rehydrate the buds a little as I have just put them in jars?, will they still have enough moisture themselves to start curing?, cheers in advance guys

You could buy a bunch of Boveda 62% humidipaks, and put one or more in each jar.

Take a paper towel, get it wet, wring out the extra and stick it in the jar with the bud. Check it every hour. That will remoisten your buds but don't forget about it or you could end up with mold.

Boveda packs will suck up the aroma, I prefer the Integra Boost packs for that reason.

How many days did you dry for?

Box and fan, you could just hang them not sure what a box and fan makes a difference.

That stickyness goes as they dry properly, bud isnt like glue its dry and breaks apart easily.

Boveda packs suck up the aroma, really? Never heard of that before. Might have to get some integras and see if it makes a difference. Thanks for the tip.

If they are dry on the outside, you may have just hit that window where they are ready to cure.

Sounds like you just need to cure for a few weeks and you'll be good to go.

Wish i could grow outdoors and harvest in April.......

You can always try the Raw hydrostones. It’s basically a terra-cotta puck you soak in water. And then place in your jars. I’ve also steamed my bathroom. Left the jars open and then closed them to lock in moisture. My buds are usually dry on the outside. Stems don’t snap. But sticky as fuck. I cure them for a few weeks and they killer. These are buds right after trim that are curing.
