I am kind of the opposite side of the coin. I dunno my biological family's medical history.
That’s really hard to navigate. I feel you. Both my boys were adopted from birth and each have their own birth parents so I get that family histories can be spotty. They are both open adoptions so we have access for questions etc, but even their birth parents only know so much. They were basically kids themselves when they gave birth.
Each kid is also a different ethnicity. Our eldest is bi-racial, and identifies as black. Our youngest is Chinese (his birth parents were Chinese foreign international students). So it’s kept us on our toes trying to remember what pieces of their medical histories we know, remember, have access to etc.
Be kind to yourselves friends, that’s all you can ultimately do and hope the rest unfolds as it should :peace:

Morning everyone. Two new inches of snow as we wait for spring. Still doesn’t start here for a few weeks, really. Never know what you’ll get.

Backreading, my kids, both early 20’s, have mostly moved out, the older entirely so. I miss ‘em much of the time, but it’s also nice to rediscover us and me time. Glad they still keep in touch. I think I was much harder on my parents than my kids have been on me. Maybe I’m cooler? Or the trouble makers skip a generation. Knocking on wood, just in case.

Ahhhh...."meds". I sympathize with those of you taking multiple compounds. Your pill regime' sounds like my wife's @DMChiz. xarelto, metoprolol, ativan, loristan, maybe something else. Central sleep apnea. Had a-fib for 3 years. Did the med routine...not effective enough...so she had an ablation 1-22 and that set things in line. Yup...very thankful for her Electrocardiologist (2 hours away) and her regular heart guy here locally.

My youngest will be 31 tomorrow. Kinda surprised he's still here. It's been a rough ride.
