I need one. The last one sent molten sparks that blistered my formica. All the little brown spots are literally molten formica. Note the radiating pattern. I looked downrange but never found the shrapnel.View attachment 5378942
Yikes. So far no burns from mine! That stinks. I have had mine for a few weeks now. I use it daily.. I like it a lot. Doesn't need preheated, and the basket is decent sized, so you can do 2 or 3 person portions with most stuff. It can fit an entire Pyrex 4qt bowl.2024-03-18 170535.jpg

I bought a 16-in-one off brand thing branded fabuletta. Who wants a toaster that requires warmup? It was awesome for reheating pizza. It was horrible to clean as well. I actually cut the cord off before taking it to the recycler so it could never be used again.

In an air fryer you need to have one that can accommodate a bowl or other oven safe implement that you can cover with tin foil, so it adds an extra step( and a little bit of steaming time). But since the rice cooker is more of a single use device, in a cramped kitchen just the slightly larger air fryer saves space. But I also have both devices. :]

Sounds like work. I just open the lid.
Yes, agree. Like I said I have both devices and use them both, but I am advocating for millenials who unlike me, have a cramped kitchen. Not many folks my age have a house with a full kitchen. I 100% agree that a rice cooker is one less step when dealing with specifically rice, but it is a pretty easy step if you store your rice in a bowl and not loose in the fridge :P
