I made a reversion type spigot that bolts to the head and the pipes are held on to it with three springs...I would have to go measure the length...They are made with three different diameter lengths of tubing...This bikes best run in the quarter mile would be a 9.60 at 136 mph so far...The details are a trade secret ...unless you really need to know..

Always read the statistics before you believe what ANYbody tells you. I ride a bike witht the stock pipes all over the Los Angeles freeways including the DEADLY 101 . you know who hears those pipes, the cars BEHIND the bike, the ones next to you, with the a/c blasting and the radio blasting do not hear you add to that all the little BITCHES riding around texting as they drive, and you are lucky if the see a 18 wheeler. I ride up and down Pacific coast Highway with my wife on back all the time, and when I get behind a Harley specially with straight pipes , I either drop behind one block , or SMOKE em as I usually do, with my VTX 1800 and leave those carburated RAW gasoline fumes behind.
I have been behind (and it's always young girls) cars to turn left, I have super bright yellow LED's and 3 HIGH beam HID lights , do the turn and the the girl will usually swing to the right center lane as I turn behind her on the left lane, and I could not tell you how many times they will swing back into the left lane into my bike, usually texting. you know what saves lives , being on the lookout and knowing how to read drivers ahead of you. BTW #1 motorcycle deaths are Alcohol #2 someone turns LEFT in front of the oncoming motorcycle and the driver does a over the handle bar flop, almost always you are dead or with a broken back. I have had hundreds of instances where they simply do not see my headlights no matter how BRIGHT AND HIGH they are.
so when cars give me the high beam on&off signal I just smile at them, cause it means the cocksucker saw me
