Went to climb in a strap on seat until I noticed Squirrels had ate the strap.

One time at the farm I climbed into a stand seen a nice Buck coming up the hill.

I pulled my rifle up didn't untie it shot the Deer. Climbed down it had run to the road. The wife said that was fast.

One time I had 3 bullets and 2 tags. My wife says that is enough. Went down there missed the first Deer. But shot it second time then another Deer was following it and i shot it.

My wife went with me to get them. Do we need the cart? No I can back up to them. We get there I'm walking down the hill. Why you walking down there your Deer is here? I have another one down here. Go get the cart. LOL

Before I got where I couldn't hunt I was hunting from the ground again and liked it over hunting from a tree. I could get better angle on Deer or Turkey.

Fried in butter! Season just opened here. I'm not going out but pretty much everyone I know does.....and they like to trade :blsmoke:
I had a great butcher until he retired . He'd take the whole spine with tenderloins and back straps and slice the bone down the middle , then cut each side into chops .

Pan fried in butter with a splash of Frank's Hot Sauce . Damn ...

Where I used to hunt is pretty much shut down. The lumber company has all their gates closed due to "fire danger".
The guys I work with are in forestry. There's so much property that they work on and can hunt, with permission. I swear the deer know to go to those spots because no one usually hunts there.
