Baywatcher's Basement Blowout

A good morning's work. It surprised me how the bag breakouts came out on this one, all I can assume is that the plant had smaller trichomes than the last batch. And now I have to go water...

edit: doh, fixed micron sizes

My new parabolic hood for my 1k HPS flowering lamp had 2,374,142 screws to put it together. I had really hoped it was just going to unfold like an umbrella out of the box... :)

Sucks you had to assemble the whole thing, I've thought about getting a parabolic a couple times. It still could be in the pages some day. Let me know how your temps change, thats the thing that has always worried me as I don't have AC yet.

Thanks for dropping in Ninja!

TC - There won't be a temperature change per se, as I haven't been running a flower chamber. And I'm not actually flipping the switch on the HPS until my minisplit is installed (hopefully next weekend). For now (starting yesterday), I'm just manually moving the two Hash Passion plants into a dark closet every morning at 9 AM, and taking them out back into the veg chamber at 9 PM.

I'm going to try and finish the soon-to-be-flower room today, I'll get some pics later.

Hash looks great man. I don't know if I'll have the cash to dish out for Bubble brand bags so I'll prob buy a bag of iPower ones because apparently they'll work fine for 1-2 runs and I have their fan and the fan is working fantastic for the price.

Either way I'm jelly you have that much hash and wish I could scoop it all up into a bowl and smoke a fat bowl of it because it's been ~6 months since I've been REAL high. Tolerance is a biiiiitch

I started with a cheap set of Amazon bags. They didn't last through the second run (stitching coming apart).

We are definitely enjoying the plentiful hash, it has been a long time since it has been around. Mrs. Bay has become a convert in particular.

Food porn time. Maple-syrup cured bacon, smoked with apple wood. Fresh out of the smoker.

Smoked pork always hits the spot, especially when its pig belly with maple. Good thing i just ate or that would make me starving. :):):)

oh gawd shit looks so dank. I'd fry up so much of that and put it on an english muffin with butter and cheese and maybe some maple sausage patties

And because it is a waste of wood to only smoke one thing, some beef riibs, and skin from the belly that I'll use to make chicharonnes.

The way I'm doing them is to take the pork skin and remove as much of the fat/meat as you can -- you want just skin. Cut them into squares and throw them into a deep fryer/pot of oil.

Today saw all five Blackberries, plus two Headband, two Fire OG, and one Hash Passion move from red cups to 2-gallons. I had planned to move a couple of the 2-gallon pots into sevens, but I'm going to need to wait until the flowering chamber is operative before I'll have space.

Also, the experiment of watering heavy, then not watering for five full days, worked out fine. That means I can go on vacation without having to worry about setting up an automatic watering system.

Anyway, here's everything. The two empty pots are the spots for the 2 flowering HP that are in a closet during the day.

Cut the last few Critical Jack and Pineapple Express plants to 8 mainlined heads. Just to space things out a bit, I may take half of them to 16 before they go into sevens.

While staring at the garden I decided that one of the Pineapple Expresses needed some bondage. And, much like potato chips, you can't do just one...
