If you're truly interested in my answers I'll field your questions although I think I've covered everything pretty clearly. I jumped to conclusions based on misinformation, some folks delicately pointed it out, I concurred and my opinion of the matter has changed entirely.

does Oklahoma have the death penalty?

All states have the death penalty.

Some have it codified for specific "crimes", while others will employ the death penalty if you attempt to act in self defense to protect yourself from a thug with a badge breaking into your house or engaging in road piracy etc.

Why does it take a helicopter and all those cops to show up to a broke down vehicle?

I can't find any information on the guy actually acting a fool. Just says his car stalled in the middle of the road.

i'm confused about the whole situation. if his car stalled, would he have not put it in neutral and pushed it to the shoulder? no, it looks like he was stopped from both sides, oncoming and following. why else would he be over the line in the center of the road?

also, why did they edit the sound of the first two shots fired? you can see the damage, but you only hear one shot, although you can plainly see AT LEAST two gunshot wounds.

why did no one go to 'disarm and restrain' him after being shot three times and not moving or responding?

i'm moving to costa rica, fuk the police

This is indeed tragic but I'm wondering why in the heck he would walk back to his door and reach into his truck. It's a shame we don't have access to the full audio feed but I could never imagine the officers saying "with your hands up please mosey on back over to your door and grab some ID through your window".

@schuylaar why would you consider this "the litmus if there ever was one"?

Just 2 minutes worth of digging reveals that at one point during his lifelong criminal career we have this incident, which was before the 4 your prison stint he recently served for trafficking:

"Records obtained by The Associated Press on Tuesday show that when Crutcher was ordered to exit the vehicle for a pat-down search, he began making a movement to his right ankle before an officer managed to get control of Crutcher. A .25-caliber pistol was found in his right sock, the arresting officer wrote in an affidavit."

His truck window was closed.

And as for the rest of your post? Good thing that cop didn't know his history or he would of been dead much sooner..because we all know you're guilty once you have history. Right?

Too bad they killed him or they could have asked him about Aleppo too.

I just read the rest of your post... Are you fucking serious? Are you really rooting around in this guy's record to see if the police were justified in gunning him down?

Go shoot yourself. I suspect you are breaking the law in some way and should die.

I mentioned the arrest because I was wondering what in the hell was in the cops minds when approaching him guns armed like that in the first place. His arrest entails him reaching for a weapon in a previous incident, how can that not be applicable regardless if it was the day before or years ago?

The following factors led to my initial opinion:

1. Guy has reached for a weapon in the past with police.
2. Guy disobeys orders (unless by some otherworldly reason the police say "ok sir walk back to your truck").
3. Guy reaches into truck after being tazed.
4. Forum member claims this to be the litmus test if there ever was one.

The only factor that led me to believe that this might not be be the best candidate for the "litmus test" is item 3. Now knowing that was wrong changes everything man.

Lastly, I dig world of tanks.
Don't try to blame your shit post on me. You didn't have the facts and you did a little knee jerk by back pedaling.

FTW..what do you have against litmus paper, you've mentioned it several times..does it disturb you?.bad memories of senior year Chemistry?

BS, the man`s drive train broke, he couldn`t even pull to the side. Does not warrant a pat down. At the very least, at the very, very least, the police should have offered assistance first.

1. So what? Did they know this? How did it enter into the action?
2. He did? Where?
3. Derp
4. Forum members here say some fucked up shit. And you thought that was worth responding to?

Lastly. That was a great tank. It really helped you guys beat the nazis.
How is litmus some fucked up shit, Baldrick?

That's EXACTLY what they do..they push the car to the side.

Truck not as easy as a car for one person to navigate a push in neutral while steering from the outside.

The missing disarm and restraint is a good point, I had wondered myself.

The shot you don't hear was because he was tazed first and it gives off a muffled sound.
