Autoflowering plant

Well Im thinking my bagseed must be from an autoflowering strain. Its been vegging about 6-7 weeks at 18-6 with grow nutrients. The past few days its been flowering like crazy everywhere. Its still only about 14" tall in a 2.5gal pot. What will happen if I leave it at 18-6? Or do I need to put it into the bloom room now? Also, I pulled a few clones from it the other day that had some flowering going on them, are these not gonna work?

what your seeing is probably pre-flowers, the plant is telling you its ready to flower. if it was auto-flowering it would have started flowering at about 20 days old. your clones might take root, might not. put the plant on 12/12.

thats obviously not preflowers......has to be an autoflower strain if its on 18/6 and looks like that....looks good though...gl on the grow shes looking nice!

Yea thats what I was thinkin. She's real healthy, I guess Ill throw her in the bloom room. What do you guys think of the clones? Its only been 3 days on them and they look great too.

thats gotta be an auto cuz those ARE NOT PREFLOWERS! Looks fuckin good though. So ur puttin it in 12/12 or no?

Yea Ill throw it in 12/12 now I guess. So will the clones go back into veg. then or no? Thats the part im confused about.

Dude u cant clone autoflowering plants it just wont work....and that is indeed an autoflowerer.....u can put it in 24 hours of light or 20/4 because autoflowering plants dont need darkness..it will grow faster the more light it has over darkness

its lookin mighty fine man keep it up!

First of all, U CAN CLONE AUTOS!!! It's not reccommended but it can and has been done, and people will keep doing it! Ur plant- I'd keep em in 18/6 cuz they look like they're doing great with it, but thats just me. As for ur clones, they may work, but also, they may not produce like u want em to, they should take root and just finish flowering from there.

See that was my thought that the clones will take root, but they will just flower right away (or continue to). We'll see Im gonna move the plant into 12-12 in 2 days. First im gonna flush it. I'll update about the clones in a week or 2 and see what happens. Maybe they will just flower into nice sized joints ;)

i still dont think its auto flowering, as i said earlier if it was auto flowering it would have started to flower at about 20 days old, not 7 weeks old

Well, I was able to get the clones from my autoflowering plant to root. But, Im not sure what they are gonna do yet, if they will just continue back into flower or what... But I pulled them outta my humidome and had a ton of nice roots growin outta my RapidRooters so... We'll see what happens, Im gonna keep them in my veg. room with some young skunk girls I have.

I don't want to piss on your chips mate, but if that is an auto flowering strain, it would have started flowering at 3 weeks, and would nearly be finished now.

I admit it has a hell of a lot of flowering for a plant on an 18/6 light period but not enough to be a true autoflowering strain.

I wonder if maybe the seeds were the result of auto and non auto breeding?

Anyway, heres the dilema, if it really is an autoflower strain then putting into 12/12 will substantially reduce your yield.

Anyway that's enough for me, I'm stoned and confused :-?

this is why people say dont use bag seed, its just a gamble. however if you bought some powerplant seeds or clones for instance, with basic growing knowledge your almost certian to get a nice uniform crop with a good yeild with no messin. straight up. good luck i hope it gets u high in the end tho. out.

I got a few clones off this auto. It rooted but is growing very slow. 3 are in the bubbler and the other went in soil 3 weeks ago. they came from broken limbs from a light cover falling. new cfl grow 023.jpg
