hey guys just wondering what everybodies thoughts are on tiny little seedling sprouts and if you can tell much about how the plant is going to turn out by looking at the seedlings in this early stage.

i have been cracking a few beans lately and i gotta say. i have 2 little plushberries one showed a little purp the other has a lot of purp. the one with a lot of purp also has little resin glands visible to the naked eye. also 2 of my 3 r.l. kings have loads of little resin glands. i checked em under the scope and they definitely are glands. i also noticed under the scope that all my sprouts have them but some just have more pronounced ones and more of them. just wondering what peoples thought are on this

yeah its getting close now. im feeling pretty good about it. doesnt look to be a huge haul im thinking about 8oz dry probably. which really is about the same i got from my buddha and i got about 9oz off the vk but i lost a bit on both of those to rot. but all in all not too bad for a 4 week veg. im definiteley not going to be sharing this stuff around as much as i did last time thats for sure. this is going into the private stash.

Hey

I reckon you can tell a fair bit from a seedling mate. Purple in the stems/veins in early veg does not mean it will have any purple in the bud. It is a sign of high levels of **insert word stoner brain can't think of???**, which is an indicator of how tasty it will be! Stems covered with glands at a young age usually indicate strong pot- gently rub the stems and smell them!

im probably just over thinking it. i probably get just as excited about cracking beans and seedlings as i do about flowering. i tend to get a little over excited as im sure everyone on here knows by now lol

Purple or red stems are strain dependant, age irrelevant.

thanx man!! i just added pinneapple suger rush to the mix. not many people have given it a go, i myself got a very cheap shot at it, smells delicious and instead of uptake i'm using this as a better form of molasses. can't hurt right!?
I have run it before, it helps start the process of pushing sugars vigourously, just remember though, a healthy happy plant produces enough sugars on its own, it can effect the overall physiological process of the plant adding more than is produced directly from the plant itself. For the money they ask, i personally wouldnt run it again as i didnt gain any significant advantages in the end result.

its not stems just the first set of leaves are purple. i have seen it a few times now and they usually just grow out into green leaves but just thought it might be a sign of purple in its future
