false. Anything you can do indoors you can do outdoors and vise versa, indoors just allows more/complete control, no man made light is replacing everything the sun gives perfectly but, it’s the ultimate (and free) light.

that statement contradicts its self reza, your saying false, then at the same time your saying more control

:wall:

the bloke was saying his outdoor grow was larf and not much good

then said he wants to get into indo growing, i just asked what light he wants to use,

and made a general statement as to why people grow inside

'Been doing a bit of prep. this weekend on the OD pen for next season.

Turned everything over & added a swag of Gypsum, cow shit, rooster booster, Seamungus pellets & all the coco left over from this year's grow & a half-bag of Who-flung-dung mulch that I had laying around. Gonna dig that whole lot in with some extra perlite, then mulch to cover everything, then water it all in with Go-Go juice. 'Should be good to go in about 4 months.

Guess how many plants are intended for this space????;)

Edit: The old greenhouse is finally cactus, so it's coming down & the replacement will be relocated to another spot away from the house-build site.

Awesome work do you do a soil test before planting? My guess is 4 plants maybe 6

Nope, no soil testing. In 4 months' time & a fortnightly-ish dose of dilute Go-go juice/Bokashi/home-made Lacto. culture etc., the plot should be where I want it to be from a microbial standpoint.

I had 5 plants in that space last season (clones of clones), but this season is planned for only two Wonder Woman plants that I'll start from seed sometime in August.

I have never had any outdoor experience so I am going to ask lots of questions. How old will the clones be when you plant?

Sorry to disappoint you, mate, but I'm no guru. Everything I'm implementing now has been learned by READING A LOT & standing on the shoulders of others.

'Tried some new techniques & growing media last season that I'd never previously considered using & had some success & some failures..... That's why I'm digging-in the coco left-over from last year.

The ones going into the new bush plot will have been started/vegged for a couple of months & topped/cloned by early October.

If it wasn't for @DustyDuke potentially trashing a heap of clones, I wouldn't have grown anything at all last season - he lit a fire under my arse. I'm eternally thankful for that. I now have more than I could possibly use in decades. Thanks mate!!!

This season, I'm going to return the favour - Wonder Woman clones are going back to Dusty......

Strongest plant ive grown was an outdoor LVTK. I then cloned it and ran it indoors. Is better but i think mainly because i could get her to finish. No mold and i guess less stressed.

I recon outdoor is just as good as indoor but its gotta be just as well grown.

But either way, first you need the genetics.

If leaf temps aren’t too high (32* CO2 enriched) is it ok to have a few sacrificial light burnt fan leaves, to get maximum PPFD at the canopy? Only the fan leaves are affected, and only a few closest to the light.
