Got the new project started..long time coming.
Needed to split the SSDD and CK as they’d outgrown their veg space. New tent with 600W DE will become the hash tent. Got CK in there for now under a DE 6K and once sexed and cloned they’ll go into the main room. Then either Old Mother Ghani or Vintage Lebanese will go in under HID for hash production. Yee haw.

thanks mate, I’ve been hanging to get it going. Wanted to see how LED went, and I’m ok with it in the main room and small veg tent. However for hash production I’ll stick with HID in the new tent. 1x1m with a 400V 600 DE set up.

Hey guys I'm in Perth, new to the forum and to growing really, I've only ever done basic outdoors w tap water and egg shells in soil lol I never tried with nutrients or knew about EC, pH etc. But I've hit my limit with pgr and now I'm getting my shit together! Slowly getting a 4x4 setup, experimenting with a rough dwc in a closet and trying Coco outside, been a huge learning curve!
Anyway my question is about density, I just finished my first outdoor Coco plant and damn it grew REALLY airy and foxtaily, I thought it was an outdoor trait in general but then I met a guy who was producing similar under full on lights?!
Online there's so many "possible causes" but has anyone had or seen a similar thing in Aus? I keep mine in full sun and am only using shitty 5+yr old old bag seeds as practice before forking out for strain yah know, I wanna blame the seed but someone grew it once right?

Sorry for the fuckn paragraph any help is appreciated!

80-100% genetics
0-20% nutrition

Could be bad genitecs or piss poor growin conditions outside.

false. Anything you can do indoors you can do outdoors and vise versa, indoors just allows more/complete control, no man made light is replacing everything the sun gives perfectly but, it’s the ultimate (and free) light.
Allot of great bud gets grown outdoors that would put fair few indoor growers to shame.
On the genetics tho ya ya cant expect to put a 50 buk seed in the ground an expect it to pruduce the goods, still gotta put in the effort to get it to finish good

same can be said for indoors. Can’t expect to throw a $50 seed into some coco and produce the goods, takes some effort to finish good.
