Just recieved my new piece of glass. It is heavy for how small it is and it hits pretty good. I am blitzed from half a bowl in this thing. Got a free one hitter glass piece also.

Got all my lights, my cabinet, my fans and all ten of my short rider seeds germed, hopefully this cabinet grow goes alright to make up for my bro getting busted.

Hoping to do a seed run on all of them and then do a perpetual outdoor auto grow winters are really mild here so no use wasting time waiting for spring.

Yeah a ten set of party lights hoping for 5 females from 10 seeds I got them under 5 6500k 24w and 5 2700k 24w cfl's and 4 600m 18w tubes that are 5000k. All up about 20000 lumens, if it's not enough I have another string of party lights I can string up and add 8 more lights and 12000 lumens.

The best thing about party lights is the ability to Quickly interchange lights screw them to anything or let them hang and you can even use only the amount of bulbs you need, I left my drill at my parents so my cabs pretty shoddy atm I'll get my drill and bits and some hooks/brackets for the lights and set it up to be able to raise and lower the lights. I might even use 600mm 18w tubes for side lighting I can get linkable battens for $5 including bulbs.

First grow will be a seed run assuming my plants auto if not I'll grow em and order some more seeds until I get some real auto's.

Man im dying to setup my dwc system i just gotta finish off my current grow another 3 weeks left, i was thinking of just finishing it now so i can setup the dwc, where did u find the info on hooking everything up, jimmy is gonna give me a hand just got to get the grow area measured

lol for only 3 weeks i think it would be dumb to just stop now. May aswell finish it off as i hear so many growers on here complain they didnt wait an extra week let alone 3.


@Dpmymrs get a photo up asap dude, as im somewhat tempted to give it ago next season. Did you go for the proper setup from a hydro store or just bucket + pool filter basket?

Im envious of the amount of light you have thats why haha.

Well i think street lights are MH so you could always knock them off if you need anymore.

Yer i was looking at some DWC setups and they seem piss easy to set up. Black tub + filter baskets + air pump and done? Do you still need to pump the water around though or do you just clean it out every week or two?

What do you mean the drip pump?....You use drip feeding with DWC?

i drop my nutes every week no doubt (is that how ya spell it?)
and you dont need a drip system but i like the fact there is water going into my medium that i can see not just the mist in the tub keeping shit feed
what i do is join all my tanks together then add a drip system to the top from a rez that is joined to the dwc system
its a shit load of water and nute evey week but the return is worth it

fuck last year was 3200w ive deff turned down the lights ,i was getting freaked out by the power bill talk all the time
and if my neighbors look at me the wrong way well its their lawn ill mow so that they like me again
i got oldies all around me, im always fixing there doors and fixing weatherboards for free ,well not for free i always score free food

I was about to ask that question because i just got done reading your journal and seen 1800w. I have 2 600w going now one for veg and one for flower. I am thinking about putting a second one in flower and actually use a T5 for veg. I have seen some impressive plants from T5's in veg and actually flower also. But I have to do HPS in flower. Now i just need to find some place online that sells them cheap.

i run a flouro in the veg room cause i grow em for 9 weeks
they dont get big cause im always cutting them down and there is just enough light to keep em green and ok
but it worked ok for me cause they are really bendy and spindily so you can bend them over and screen em in the flower room when ya move them
