I smoke to get high occasionally. (recreational)
I smoke for back pain and joint pain occasionally ,joys of getting older. (medicinal)
I make canna caps for a cancer patient. (medicinal).

We all smoke or ingest etc for different and sometimes varying reasons. No matter the reason id want less poisons in it. I don't want bad PGRs or mould spores or pesticides etc.

For those looking at making oil then u can buy 100% (99% in actual) Iso on ebay for around $25 for 5L delivered. Iso has a lower boiling point than Cannabis oil so you can easily purge it all.

Yes, Dabs are tasty, perhaps the tastiest way of smoking but its a pain in the arse, I haven't used my rig in 1/2 a year or more.

I consider it a medicine for myself (chronic back pain, anxiety and depression). Its helped me tremendously, im off all other pain meds and can get through the day... Its been medicine for 6000 years until only 80 years ago when some racist old white American cunt says its the devil.

Dispensaries calling it a medicine; this is all bullshit legal red tape as it's still federally illegal to sell weed for recreational use in USA. They can call a spade a dildo as far as I'm concerned, at least it's leading Aus in the same direction

I've grown some charlottes angel from dutch passion, less than 1% thc and up to 16% Cbd.. smashed a trumpet of a joint this morning and went about my day, its really a strange feeling... almost feels dreamlike.
However, you really do need the thc for this to be effective as a pain reliever / relaxant / sleep assistant etc, cbd alone is not as effective on its own. A 1:1 at 6-10% would be perfect.

I'm also vegan, have grown all my plants 100% vegan and can give you/ your friends misses advice on products if required.
I have epilepsy that's uncontrollable atm the only steady thing I'm taking doesn't do its job without having a choof . I've opted to grow my own as my neurologist suggests CBD oil but it's 350 a dose /week (after initial month of adapting if needed) .. I smoked cause I love choofing and cooking and I have herniated discs and my wife has PTSD from a domestic violence relationship (not me either ya smart-asses). But I'm pretty sure metho doesn't count in that "vegan" category , sounds like WW2 again..

Fire away, mate - I'm all ears.
To resolve the initial concern of the gel caps, they can buy you these vegetable caps.

Hygen coco fertilisers and coco use no animal products. 'Cultured Solutions' for calmag.
(Not likely something you or many others need to know, but it'll help someone in the future because this information is not made publicly available).

With isapropal alcohol, would there be any residual chemicals left over in the final product?

Grow your own, way cheaper and easier than the legal route. Charlottes Angel yielded poorly, but still, cheaper than other sources.
Vegan just means ethical treatment of animals, not supporting products or industries that exploit animals or deforestation and shit like that.
To my understanding spirits don't use any animal product (with the rare exception where egg or fish is used for liquid clarification).

Is there any good website that sends seeds to Melbourne, Victoria and how do I grow in my closest in my room ?
Look here first mate, come back in a week after you've researched some basics for yourself.

Ok then , fair enough .. But vegans have alot of competition nowadays , only eating fish and vegetables.. haha sounds like a cop-out from an 80% committed vegan not willing to give up fish and chips lol must have been a pom ,, what do they call them ..... Nutjobs isn't it, pretty sure the animals would be grateful to not be wasted after 1 person killed it.. bet they didn't think of that aye

Vegans don't eat fish. That's like saying I won't eat your cat but your dog is fine. Look up factory farming and the shit that goes in your food, that'll be enough to make you second think what your eating.

This isn't 50,000 bc Australia, I'd be eating the shit out of kangaroos. But it's not like that anymore, we have a choice. Just like we all choose to grow weed, despite current legal status or societal approval

Regardless, this isn't the place for a vegan chat. Each to their own :eyesmoke:

I meant those other variations of vegan, it starts with a P I'm sure of it .. but they only eat fish and vegetables, that master chef show has a WA guy that only eats fish ... But yeah I agree, .. but my missus is aboriginal so I can go hunt if I wanted.. oñly min amount allowed ,, but still .. it's roo ,
And nonit isn't vegan chat (thank god) but it was a topic that blended with the ganja theme of the thread so...:P

Pescatarian i think.. sad cunts
Go hard or go home

So I tried out monster cropping (cuttings from a flowering plant) and was surprised that roots started after only 7 days. I was told it would take a month as they'd need to revert back to veg.

My lights add about $60 a month to my bill.
Don’t over think growing to much. It’s fairly easy to get smoke. I grew years ago thought I new my shit but that was hydro. This time I’m using coco/perlite. Did a few stupid mistakes like bucket feeding making new nutes everyday was dumb as fuck and time consuming and burnt the shit out of my plants.
If your growing for personal you need to think how much you smoke and build your setup based around that. Do you smoke a gram a week or an oz. You get 3-4 grows a year depending on the strain. So if you smoke 1/2 an oz a week that’s 1.5 p a year you want to yield half a p minimum a grow.

The plants inside the red I burnt the shit out of but it free smoke and a hard lesson learnt

My new hps came Friday without the shade WTF.
So I have taken the light rail out just tied the lights don’t really need it at this point probably yield less though.
When the shade gets here I’ll set it up again. It’s to much of a pain in the ass to get it balanced. You can see the light hang in my last post.
Hopefully the hps will thicken those nugs up a treat. One day I will convert to full led setup when the wallet allows.

I always recommend Attitude. Stealth shipping and a re send option as Melb and Brisbane seem to get the odd one.

There is a Micro grow section that should help with a few options. https://www.rollitup.org/f/stealth-micro-cab-growing.125/. I've done a couple weird and not real suucesfull grows in weird spaces. I did a fridge and a long, long time ago under a bench seat in a caravan. (the seat at the table at the front that most older vans had).

Great forum this one so have a good look around, lots of info.
