im in sydney, out ctown way. oh and that reminds me, being a pretty "rough" area (its not really but has a bad rep) i thought id put my two cents in on the police detection debate. we have regular (2-3 times a week min) fly overs by the PolAir chopper because we live across the road from bush that seems to be a prefered shortcut for the areas criminals, but they range between high speed pursuits, low speed spotlight searches and hovering thermal detection (no spotlights). ive had the chopper sit directly above our house and blind me with the spotty, but it also often will just cruise around at night, like i watched it do again last night, with only a small set of flashing lights (these always make me laugh, like their ever gonna pull over another chopper mid air for an rbt!) obviously using the thermal detection and while they might be looking for someone or something in particular, if their screen lights up over someones back shed im fairly sure they would make a note of it to check it out. just a thought.Score! Yes yes Im so hot right now yes, yes yes. Its a terrible looking clone I know but I didnt have much too start with...
Also I germinated these seeds on the 1st oct, pics were taken on the 10th then 19th and then the 29th, the pot tagged E was taken on the 29th 1 out of the 5 seeds was just not meant to be a plant, its had the same treatment as the rest of them.
Its funny also cause when I 1st planted the seeds, I knock over 1 of the cups, and half the soil & seed fell out, then I could find the seed, and it turned out to best plant of them and biggest of them. 13 inches is the tallest one.
How long till I can cut clones you reckon???

yeah i haven't heard the chopper in over a week now, it's been lovely. i've thought about being busted, and i've decided not to be scared about it. by that, it doesn't mean i'm taking any less precaution than i feel necessary, and i'd be super upset if it happens but it just means that i will go super public about the benefits of weed and hope someone hears lol fuck the politicians, they wont legalize it here anytime soon, but if the general public had a more informed opinion on it then slowly slowly slowly, things would start to change.
i lived in england when it was shoved down the class list and decriminalized, and i think part of that was because the general public there (on the whole) doesn't live in fear of crazed youth on their marijuana drugs killing and raping them. the public there has a more accurate opinion of dope, and based on that, after a few years.....the powers that be went hey, our people aren't freaking out about this, let's focus on actual crime.

Dark Cursade, for best results wait until the plant is matured commonly identified by staggered nodes. Other general rules stipulate 6 or 8 week time frames before taking clones, but I believe these are simply to ensure maturity.
As for choppers: meh. They have bigger concerns than small time dope growers (side glance at jats' clones lol). As for being busted I'm with kmoo. I'll be upfront and honest and hope that I get lucky with a pot smoking judge.

i think it needs some regulation, i dont think kids should smoke it while their brains are still developing etc. a similar set up to alcohol would be preferable. certain places sell it, they need to be licensed and responsible to selling only to a certain age.
i can see the medical grounds as the most promising myself, but who knows; they're far too busy making sure we dont smoke weed and that gay people can't get married to worry about anything sensible or important lol

I would rather they just decriminalise it rather than legalise it - with that comes Taxes and other bullshit regulations, and we will probably end up paying more for a gram than we do now.. Look @ the price of a pack of Longbeach 40's.. Gone up over 30% in the last 6yrs.. Compared to the 2% inflation increase.. Y? Bcos the government has to pay for their anti-smoking campaign, and they r just generally Gay
Same thing will happen with Weed, mark my words, they will legalise it, everything will be good, then they will hike taxes after some prude who has never smoked b4 says we r sending a bad image to our kids and that it is up to the government to better educate them and run programs for them.. Then it will get worse than b4.
Id rather run the risk of being a Criminal than give away a small fortune to some Wanker who is making me pay top dollar for it - same reason i don't get my gear from a dealer anymore!

I like to think if it was legalised then it would be a case of big enterprise growing gr8 weed and selling it to over 18's and paying taxes..
and then you would have the people like us making home brews and being left in peace to do it..but we could sell our boutique product throu selected outlets if we chose and pay tax like any business people .....
how simple is that..? prob very simplistic and wishful but hey,, someones got to dream it before it manifests as part of our consensual reality

this is EXACTLY how it should be!! mass market, whatever - the masses would be hungry instead of beating each other up. and then the small market of people who truly love their weed enough to take time to learn and grow etc, we go about our own business.
