Are unprotected classes fair?

How are these classes picked? I have blue and green eyes. If I only hired people with those eye colors, could I get away with it? I dated a 5'10" Japanese girl with sky blue eyes.If you lived in an area with Asians, wouldn't it be an easy way to not hire?

You just awnserd your own question.
The awnser is yes. If you did not get hired Because of that, then you can start a group. People with similar culture will join out of fear that it could happen to them. When it happens you take your group you make noise and you shove it down people's throats untill they listen. Class established and employers will now hire you over other people in fear that if they don't it would be discrimination and bring the wraith of the groups protests and media.

Notice the fear. Fear of being a victim

If your a woman you have to vote for Obama because republicans are against women's rights, and want to take us back to the 50's
If you're hispanic you have to vote for Obama becasue republicans are racist
If you're black you have to vote for Obama or else you're a race traitor
If you're a white male you have to vote Obama or else you're a racist

And to end my discussion. If the wrath of a certain group causes fear that does not make them a minority anymore.

What will happen when the power shifts the bosses will be the victims of all the groups. Enough of them to start their own group and voice how they live in fear and it's destroying their business because they can no longer hire workers for productivity but only to avoid prosecution by a certain group.

Ryan,
When I was a teacher, the math book even included protected groups. I think that's funny. Math doesn't use that type of logic until college level using statistics and number theory, ie groups/sets.

I mean
Here is a thought experiment. This is not ment to be offensive.

We have a black man and a white man looking for a job.
The boss has to decide on national television who gets the job.
Both men have the same credentials , charisma, ect
who is more likely to get the job?

They are equals, so now the boss has to decide which choice would be in his best interest.

Same scenario
white man vs white woman
who is more likely to get the job?

Same scenario
White woman vs Hispanic woman
who is more likely to get the job.

Notice a pattern of your first instincts. You most likely picked the ones who could potentially call Down the wrath of their group. path of least resistance even if the wrath of a members group never came why chance it.

Freedom,
Exactly. That's what I'm getting at. Doesn't it breed contempt when you worry about getting slapped with a hate crime? The protected get away with bullshit, but in the end don't the unprotected lash out? Isn't it just another way to divide us all?
The question is why are you worried? Just make your point loud and clear, assert your rights, and tear down the stereotype..

Isn't it of pride to be able to say that you aren't a coward, and stand for what you believe in...?
I don't get why anyone would worry if they were really for the cause.

"When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, tyranny has found victory. The federal government is our servant, not our master!"

fb360,
Because as the employer you get sued and the employee has a hard to impossible time getting the job. The protected classes use their status to gain where they're unqualified. Which is why I'm 100% against unions. A union only cares about the masses.

because having romney make your decisions about your body is so much better.

If you're hispanic you have to vote for Obama because republicans are racist
because self deportation is awesome and allowing kids who were brought here through no fault of their own is stupid.

If you're black you have to vote for Obama or else you're a race traitor
race traitor? blacks vote overwhelmingly with the demorats, you fucking douchebag.

If you're a white male you have to vote Obama or else you're a racist
persecutedconservativewhitemaleitis.

Imagine acting as a "Whistle blower" working for a huge powerful corporation. As the "Harassment" of you and your family becomes too much to handle you file for the government protections offered. These forms specifically require you to disclose your Race, Age and Sex to the government. Imagine now, as a decorated veteran, you receive an official letter stating that you are a white male under 50 and have no protections offered under these laws. Is this equality under the law? Why did I risk my life serving this country? Are the "unprotected" here not an intended victim? Affirmative Action has changed the lives of my family and I more than any true war has :( What happened to content of character ...

People should have the freedom to associate or not to associate with any party that wants to associate with them. All people should be "protected" in that sense rather than singling out classes. Singling out classes to protect becomes divisive.

The freedom to associate is best applied when both parties agree to the association. If one party does not agree, then making them associate becomes contradictory to freedom.

Are you aware that as a US soldier you give up many of your "rights" to serve, one of which is "freedom to associate" ;)

I think requiring elected officials be held to the same standards of the UCMJ may go a long way in cleaning up DC ...

Brains and free will are an impediment to being an obedient tool.

I believe that nothing has the obedience of $ ...

Think: Campaigns would be clear bribery if it were not for these same clowns writing "campaign laws". How has that freedom of association worked out for this county? I don't think our forefathers saw these bozos coming :o

Yes money is a strong motivator for some. However while truth can be covered up it cannot be bought or altered by applying more money to it.

Freedom of association hasn't worked in this country, because freedom of association has been prevented from happening.
