Id prefer agnostic actually, I don't like atheist.....not really a big deal however but that would be negative points for me I guees, but I don't vote based on identity so not much points lol
I am friends with atheist and Id date one but that is a negative for me, not that its huge deal, I can understand why some people don't understand the importance of spirituality in philosophy or why someone has a disdain for religion not that I agree with it. I think its a very important aspect of life and many of the lessons taught by the prophets are very important.
I think people who claim they are atheist have a sort of mental block and its a serious mental illness just like a religion is.

I have a good friend who is a quantum physicist. He does not even consider a god. He knows science is true. He likes tangible evidence. I myself am a Rastaman. I love Jah and give thanks to Ras Tafari. My friend does not label himself an athiest or anything at all when it comes to religion. For him religion is a box left blank. We get along very well because we don't care what the other believes as long as we are kind to one another and treat everyone and everything with the same respect we expect from others.
Is my buddy morally fucked because he likes science and not storybooks? Am I a fool because I believe the words in a book written before anyone spoke english? Who cares as long as we are kind to one another and we work together to move our world/communities forward as a whole? We as a whole have bought into stereotypes and prejudice for far too long. We are all humans. We should try to help each other and figure out how to look past obstacles like race, religion, sexual orientation and whatever else singles us out as humans and help each other. Everyone is struggling with SOMETHING. Money, Depression, Abuse, Addiction...

Your religious beliefs don't matter at all. As, contrary to what religious people want you to think, morals are not defined by religion (morals define religion). The only time I oppose somebody for their beliefs is when they oppress another belief in any way.

I never dabbled in quantum mechanics, mainly stick to number theory, but a God or many gods doesn't really seem logical to me. One could believe that there's something behind the way the universe that, we so happen to inhabit, acts... but... I'd suggest looking into Schrodinger's cat. I don't want to dissuade anyone about their beliefs; however, the probability of some entity controlling an entirely random universe that is completely separate from every other universe in the multiverse (which this deity would have to control as well) is too low for me to believe that there is anything out there. I choose to believe in mathematics.
