7 weeks, i had in veg with the Auto's it was my first attempt at LST and seemed to of gone alright so far

Yeah. Looks great. Bushy with nice wide flat canopy. If you have the room, you can spread the branches out wider. Also after a week or so the stems set in their new shape and you can take off the ties. I see the airpot gives a lot of nice anchor points for the ties. I drill holes in the lips of my regular pots.

When I LST I like to do it in stages by tightening the tie down over several days to avoid any kind of shock. I have found I can do this in flowering too without any apparent ill effects. I try to do very little of anything to the plant while she is budding, but sometimes colas obscure each other.

What up people? First time using airpots. Anyone got any tips on flushing while using airpots. Does it take forever when flushing using airpots? I know when watering I have to water slowly or the water rushes out the holes and makes a mess. I'd appreciate any tips on flushing while in airpots.

Make sure your meduim is right at the top of the airpot, because there are 2 rows at the top of the pot with no holes which act as a reservoir and when you water all the water will spread nice and evenly through out your growing meduim and won't just leak out of the holes.

Hey everybody, quick question.

I got a pack of 5x2gallon airpots and Im worried they arent going to be big enough for the whole grow.

There are going to be 5 plants in a 4x4 x 6' tall room with a 600w hps.

Should I pick up some larger pots or will the 2gallon guys be sufficient?

I use 2.4 gallon pots and sometimes me plants get to big for my liking. Your growing in a 6' tall space and the pots are around 12" tall. Your light will hang 12-18" from the top, leaving you around 3 1/2 to 4 feet of space to grow your plants in. IMO they will be more than enough.

Thanks all for the reply about the size.

Ive come upon a new problem though..

I am having to water every other day and its becoming a real chore. Its a 30 minute trip(hour round trip plus watering time) out to where they are and the every other day waterings are putting a stress on my life at the moment. I am currently watering each 2 gallon pot with exactly 2 liters of water every other day and this just seems excessive. Honestly it takes less than 2 days for them to dry out but I cant make it there that often.

Does anyone have any tips on stretching the watering out? The temps stay right about 76 during lights on and 70ish off. Humidity is a bit low when I last checked so i filled a 10 gallon tote with water and hopefully it will start to evaporate and raise the humidity a bit but I dont expect much.

I just switched to 12/12 and they are really going to start drinking. If it gets real bad Ive considered sticking them and the whole airpot into a 5gallon bucket and back filling around the airpot to reduce transplant stress during flower.

Any other ideas would be appreciated :-)
