Adding Pineapple Juice to my Pineapple Express

I was reading somewhere that people are adding juice to the plants the last 2 weeks to the plants to give more flavor and smell. Has anyone tried this and does it work? Now it's not straight juice it is diluted with water.

My initial thought is that you'd get the same effect, only more efficient, from giving them molasses. I struggle to believe that any plant will reproduce the scent of any liquid you give up - fully accepting I may be wrong on this.

I really don't know if it will change much of the taste but it would probably be best to try it on one and see how it goes.

I wouldn't try it on my plants but please post your results!

it wont hurt but wont directly impart any taste, flavor or smell.

it will help, but i would recommended you do a side by side of pineapple juice and molasses. and read about why and how it works, the molasses will be better for the plants.

In soil? If in soil ,i just think if your pour a jug of pineapple juice through a pot of soil..do you think it will still smell like pineapple when it comes out the other side? Apart from maybe adding sugers to the soil i couldnt see that working

One of my mates just cropped ak47 a month ago and added a little bit of ribena in his water whilst flushing. When people do it though its primary use is giving the plant a little bit of energy to put towards ripening up the buds whilst flushing out all of the nutrients. I smoked my friends buds and they did have a lovely taste, smell and flavour but I think it was jus tthe genetics of the strain and im guessing whatever juice you add will hardly, if not at all, effect the taste or smell. I'm also doing this in my grow, my blueberry plant is in the middle of week 6 flower and im planning to add a little bit of squash to my water when I flush. When adding liquids like juice, squash, ribena etc its important you don't over do it as a lot of sugar can bring mould to the plant

What the hell is wrong with some of you people, so far today Ive seen a guy wants to use pool ph down for his water and now you wanna give your plant pineapple juice? Diluted or not that shit is sticky and will attract bugs for sure. Im all for experimenting but cmon...

Anyway not bashing or anything, im just saying.. its a plant, treat it like a plant.

I would question the PH level of the juice, wouldn't you get nutrient lockout? So it would assume it's not beneficial

I have sum blue berry flush I got for free from a friend. This stuff is supposed to give your buds the blue berry flavor. Never tried it. As for molassis it has a lot of different types of sugars in it. The pineapple juice is a good source of magnesium. I think your just wasting your time, but try it man. Let us know.

A guy I know waters with pineapple juice and rum, and mists the plants with coconut milk. Smokes like a pina colada.

it doesn't work... when I was a newb the thing was to water with vanilla extract, it didn't do a thing... do yourself a favor if you do try it, use it like a nute and mix a tablespoon with a gallon of water

Plants are pretty specific as to what forms of chemicals (nutrients) they can uptake and utilize.

Without people thinking outside the box ...as far as marijuana goes...nobody would be : growing indoors ,no feminised seeds..no lcd lights,no auto feminised , no hdyro grows ,no fog grows ,no dwc grows,no coco grows,novertical grows,no lst,no clones.no cross breeding.no mollasses,,,etc,,,etc....i think ive made my point...also i might be wrong but im pretty sure pool ph down is the same thing as hydro ph down ...soda ash and water....


that being said i would def check the ph of any fruit juices before feeding them to your plants as at very least some probably contain a good bit of citric acid....other than that go for it.

Seriously? You have made no point what so ever. Yes think outside the box of course and everything you mentioned is within reason. Pool ph down is for a pool, baking soda, vinigar, lemon juice all things that adjust ph so clearly they must all be made from the same shit right? People start cheaping out and there plants start dieing then they come on here.. oh oh my plant is dieing and I dont know why.

I think maybe tonight I might drink some motor oil, I know it suppose to go in my car, but hey what the hell im experimenting right?

Plants make there own carbs and sugars. Adding them to the soil will in no way increase the sugar or carbs levels in the plant.

Baking soda is an absolutely horrible thing to use in any way in a grow. Vinegar is not much better. Lemon juice or citric acid is fine as a pH down. And since you brought up cars, battery acid is probably one of the best pH downs there is.....

Yea I know, im just trying to prove a point that just cuz it adjusts ph or is called ph down, does not mean its made with the same stuff. Simply put, if its for a pool just put it in the pool. I dont know what else to say, its not like im giving bad advice at all. Just if your going to add things to your plant that shouldnt be, well dont expect it to be fine.
