Ace seeds

I really want to pick up a couple of Ace varieties, but waiting to see what NASC gets in stock. I want to try the Kibungan bad! TLT has a lot of varieties from the Philippines but I'd rather not support them if I can avoid it. I am tempted by the TLT Madagascar strains though, tough to find those seeds being sold anywhere.

Here's the Malawi at 64 days. Under leds.
Brought out for pics
I've it well tied down. I weaved it into a storks nest.
I haven't fed it for weeks, just water. Slight tip burn.
It looks like a 20 week flower pheno so far..

Looks like good tric production on those leaves, interested to see how she matures. Any smells coming from the resin yet?

Is thatv 64 days from flip? How old from seed before flip?

Yes, it's 64 days from flip to 11.5 hrs on, 12.5 hrs off. No smell yet.
It sits in the corner of the main flower room.
In that time I've just chopped 2 Gelat OG's and a very sativa type blueberry that were in the same room a couple òf days ago and I'm replacing them with Chongs Choice la amnesia, Sensi Star original and 2 x Blueberry.
Theyĺl be chopped and smoked before the Malawi female lol.

I've crossed a Malawi male with the Sensi Star original, a Kings Banner ànd a Phantom cookies domina.
Plenty of seeds now. Ìve 3 x Malstar seeds - Malawi x Sensi Star original growing now and one Malawi x Phantom cookies domina - Malawi x PCD.
I cloned the Malawi male plant for future back crosses down the line hopefully.

Panama Haze
Looks like it's going to be a solid half gallon jar. Pretty impressed so far with this one, can't to see how it smokes in a 2-3 months.
Started flowering around 3 weeks from seed, which sprouted May 12.

I have a single zamaldelica bean in soak, a freebie from attitude many moons ago. Looking forward to a good sativa Buzz

Malawi at Ninety Seven - yes 97 Days flowering so far and looks nowhere near ready.
As it's in the corner of grow area not interfering with other plants I'm just gonna let it run on.

I emailed ace about this long pheno and they replied -

Hi Mo,

Yes, there are very long flowering untamed tropical sativa phenos to be found in our Malawi regular release,
they won't take more than 14-16 weeks to fully ripen, longer than that means the growing conditions are not adequate.

What on/off schedule for indoor? You can help those long pheno's finish with 11/13-on/off, or even 10.5/13.5. Doesn't look to be your first rodeo so you probably knew already.

Yea I know, I've had lights set for 11.5 hours on since day one. There are other hybrids in there so I'm just gonna keep it like that for now.
I got the reg pack for breeding.
I believe the feminized Malawi's are a bit tamer.
I used a male Malawi on a Sensi Star original we've had for ~ 14 years and I've popped 9 seeds so far.
I also crossed the Malawi male with Phantom cookies domina and I've one of them growing too.
And a Kings Banner female got pollen too.

I picked up some Purple Haze Malawi regs from Well Grown Seeds this summer. I've waited a long time to grab any Ace gear so I'm excited about them.
Sensi Star x Malawi...were you looking to replicate Bodhi's Gold Star? I grew out some Gold Star x Snow Lotus that was fun.

I dont really know about Bodhi seeds. I wonder where he got his Sensi Star from? I must check his offerings out. Thanks

Have you grown a lot of Ace gear? I've watched their catalog for years, but I don't order from the other side of the pond. I only know 2 US vendors that carry them, and I just found out about it this summer.

I'm the same as yourself. Looked at catalogue for years.
I haven't bought seeds in years. My mates buy them and I try them out for them lol. I told them about Ace but they never got any so I bit the bullet and got them myself.
There's good info on their strains on icmag.

Just finished some New Caledonia, Honduras, Honduras x Panama, Zamaldelica, and Panama Haze. What I've sampled of each so far has been really nice.

Malawi x PCK cola almost done drying.
Grew it once before. 2 phenos, 1ultra strong,1 ultra flavorful and medium potency. Both worthwhile

I bet they are all nice! How is the New Caledonia? I've heard it's very promising. I love their Honduras.

Still too early to really determine, but it's been energetic and in the head, pretty similar to Honduras, but with a little something extra to it, I guess it's the psychedelic part Dubi mentions it having. Yield and bud density was better on New Cal than I got from my Honduras, but I've seen pics of monster yielding Honduras.
The Honduras seems to be a really good work smoke
