Ac Infinity "Cloudlab" tent vs. Gorilla

I just ordered a 2'x2'x4' Cloudlab tent today from the ac infinity website to use for a 150w qboard veg tent.
(They have some things on sale and free shipping for orders over $100 on their site if anyone is looking for new gear.)

I have a Vivosun 4'x4' and 4'x8', along with a Gorilla "heavy duty" 4'x8'. So, the sizing of the tents are different but I think I can still give a decent comparison on quality, materials, build and value between all three once the tent has arrived and been setup.

With a cost of only $79.99 and a claim of "2000D" material, they have some pretty big shoes to try and fill for that price.

Review inc once it's setup and running.

I should’ve looked a little closer before buying my latest tent, which is a 2x4x6 from Mars. Reason I went with it is because I already have a 4x4 from Mars which is 1680D material and much thicker and all around better materials than Vivosun or any of the other common brands. They all seem to have 600D. But the Mars Hydro tents are great quality. Wonder if I should return the Mars and check out the AC Infinty. I haven’t even put it up yet and just got it a week or two ago.

I've had a 733 for a couple of months now, no issues. Team one of these tents with one of their fans and voila best bang for the buck. And that outside control plate is just fricken elegant.

I have mine mounted on the wall next to my tent. And the drivers on the outside too. But I do agree, the holder does look nice.

I’m trying to figure out how to vent my 3x3 tent. I want to get a 4” cloudline for intake and 6” version for exhaust. I don’t even know if this is more than a 3x3 tent needs. Do you have it setup so it always has negative pressure? I was wondering if you could set the speeds different and when the temp gets to set high the exhaust will speed up?

I was also looking at the Raxial s4 in-line booster for intake and the s6 booster version for exhaust. They both come with speed controllers, so I could try to find that happy medium. Plus they’re like a fraction of the cost. What would you recommend?

I'm using a 4" raxial set at about 3 for my exhaust in a 3x3x6 AC Infinity tent. That gives me negative pressure and keeps the temp in the tent a couple of degrees within room temp [74-76] Of course my tent is in an air-conditioned room and I'm using LED's so it doesn't get real hot. Also my exhaust is straight out the side with no restrictions. I'm mainly trying to turn the air over once a minute which the little raxial does just fine. I thought about using a 6" raxial and reducing it down to 4" so I could use a 4"filter but figured I would try the 4" first which works just fine and Bob's your uncle.

I have my 3x3 tent in a room that’s cooled with an A/C. My states legal, not much anyone can say, plus my landlord gave me permission to grow with LED lights, nothing HID. I have a dual QB272 that hits 250 watts. I want to get another one to have four boards and spread the light even. Right now I keep the a/c at 70 and the grow tent will get between 6-8 degrees F higher and stay constant. Right now I’m only using a 6” clip-on fan at the top of the tent to exhaust with one side flap open. I know once I put the other two boards in temps will go up again. I did mount the driver out of the tent and hung on the wall. The original setup has it screwed to the top of the heat sink. I just figured with the two cheap booster fans with controllers I could get fresh air in and still suck all the air needed to keep negative.

What I like about my Gorilla is the zipper down the middle separating two panels.
C shaped doors are a pain in the fucking ass.
Otherwise ... a tent is a tent is a tent.
It never wants to stay in place and keeps folding down on me. I have been using secret Jardins and I really like them. The AC infinity’s look really nice too.

The AC Infinity tents look great and the price is certainly right, but beyond them being out of stock when I was desperately in need I was also a bit unsure about a tent that's only 4 feet tall a foot or two more just seemed way more versatile to me.

I don’t think I could ever use something that’s only 4’ tall

Yeah you need at least 6 feet tall. My first grow was in a cardboard box, I kept having to add extensions so I could raise the lights, ended up bleaching part of some plants. Never again.

Keep in mind I intended to use the tent to veg for outdoors, but based on the height difference I opted not to wait a few weeks for the AC tent to be restocked, ended up buying another Mars (zipper had busted on the Mars tent I used last year so I had hoped to move on to another brand, but at the budget end of the market there didn't seem to be better options). Worked out well because I decided to use it for a seed repro project over the summer and 4 feet wouldn't have worked.

The AC infinity looks really nice but the 3x3 is only 6 feet tall. My other 2 tents are 6ft 6 in and the extra 6 inches have come in handy.

I still might get one but I'm leaning towards the Budbox Pro.

My tents are also 6’6” tall. You use secret jardin tents?
