you got 380 grams with the full 800 watts? nice review ... I dont think I have ever gotten over .6 g per watt, generally around .5 I think. Not sure how people get 1 gpw and more, they may not dry as much as I do, leave more stems, or they grow really heavy yielding strains or include the popcorn buds and trim ... realistically, for me it's .5 gpw.. but high quality!!

how many days? what strain, a heavy yielding one? organic? pot size? popcorn bud included? pics?

I am always surprised at those high numbers because I feel I am doing very good, like wall to wall buds, would be hard to imagine more buds at times. let alone twice as many.

Yeah,we made sure it was dry and wouldnt lose anymore weight before we weighed and put them in their jars. Realistically if our canopy was better controlled i feel like we could have definitely gotten over a pound. Not to mention the GDP seeds were "no-name" seeds with no actual breeder to back their genetics. We also use Vegamatrix, which is a "100% Veganic" line of nutes created with solely plant material and extracts with no animal/synthetic components.

This set of Scott's & Skywalker will hopefully yield more, the canopy is much more even, however still not as controlled as much as i'd like. The cobs are too close and cant spread their light out evenly (which also causes higher temps in the tent due to lack of space between the ceiling of the tent and the lights) Plan is to flip sooner to avoid such savage stretch in a short(er) tent.

Understand what you are saying but many of us are yielding well over 1gpw even with low yielding strains with COBs. Even a low yielding strain should yield about a pound in a sq meter. roughly 11 sq ft = a sq. meter so in a 4x4 there should be no reason not to get a pound provided that your light is adequate.

That said, I have seen people on here weighing in prior to being dry (after trim though) and I have seen many people weigh shit with full stems on. Fuckin stupid if you ask me and gives a false pretense of what to expect. Maybe they do it for the e-peen, maybe they are clueless, just dont know. All my weight that I list is full buds that are mature. I scrap the shitty popcorns and trimming. I do a full trim wet that is very tight (some say too tight) and I weigh only after fully dry (or close). I trimmed a little early as I was out of stuff this past week. Trimmed 39.7oz "dry" and once it all settled and began curing, it has come down to about 38.8oz after 5 days in a jar curing with 62% humidity packs.

Hi man, sounds nice. I do agree that is can be bewildering to see such different approaches when weighing in. I dont care, much, though. All I want is to make the most of my space and situation, and I guess most feel that way. How big a space and how much light have you used to get just above a kg? I can do 4x2, 4x3 or even 4x4 with my two 200w cxb3590 bars, and of course, Id like to make as many flowers as possible :)! I do hempys, any hint is greatly appreciated.

Update:
We chopped the first two plants from the flowering tent, 1 Scott's OG which was the massive stretched plant. and 1 Skywalker Kush, it was avery weak small plant, with super small colas, however had some of the most resin and pungent smell! 9 weeks and a few days. Going to let the other Scott's and Skywalker keep going. (4 GGL 200w)

The next set of skywalker/scotts/critical mass are 4 weeks into veg. (3 mars 600)

We also started another 4x4 to try out some Auto flowering genetics, we have 3 dutch passion (ultimate & blackberry kush) and 3 Mephisto genetics Triangle kush. We are trying both in coco & coco/perlite to compare the differences, all in 3gal pots. We picked up some of those stupid over priced Platinum LED grow lights (p600) off of a local for a great deal we couldn't pass up. These have been in the pots for about a week now (12/12)

(the flowering big lady in the photo is a runt Skywalker we took out of the flowering tent which was being taken over by the other scott's & skywalker)
