image.jpeg All of my bleaching was where the go green and my Zelion HLs mixed light. So just too many damn photons there. No burning.....the grow was cold....too cold. Just had to move the lights up more.

I raised the lights as much as possible, temps are chillin at a sketchy 78f, time to break out the AC!
My concern right now is the seed banks website for these seeds claim this GDP finishes in 10-12 weeks. However all other sources claim GDP finishes in 8-9. Nonetheless they both claim GDP purples near the last 2-3 weeks of flower. And these girls are sure going purple, with the AC they will reach their full potential. So shooting for a "estimated harvest window" is probably not going to happen, got the scope in hand ready to be checking those trics come week 8!

Looks good man!
What are room temps during lights on and off?

I've read from others that plants finish sooner under LEDs.....I don't understand the rational but mine all did and they were quite colorful.

Thanks man, first grow with semi-legit genetics. grew with shit dispensary clones before.
Lights on right now and its at 78-79, and its high 60's outside.
Lights off is 8am-8pm, sits at roughly 79-80 because its gets up to the high 90's in the day time around here.
Figured it would be best to run lights during the night when electricity is cheaper and the weather is cooler.

Lucky!
Where are you that it's 60 now?

I live in Southern California by the beach, so its a relatively mild climate.
Temps in the tent right now are at 75f lights on (3:41am though lol) so its basically a little warmer until about midnight, cools down; and then starts warming around the time the lights click off at 8am.

The buds are looking spectacular though. Crazy resin production.

Quick update:
Scott's OG & Skywalker Kush are at week 5 of veg under the mars, starting to fill the screen.

GDP: Monday will be 8 weeks under the COB LED.
Started flushing 3 days ago.
Tops are def going purple. They definitely still have some bulking to do, white pistils everywhere.

with the exception of a few spots, most clones in shops are mostly novelty. if you think they are gonna sell you a cut, of their best phenos: don't.

they want you to buy these and fail miserably, they want to think its hard to grow, and not something you can learn in a year or two, and never buy anything again.

its hard to make friends with growers, since we by default don't want anyone else to know. but if you happen to make some friends, trading is the only way you can get good phenos, besides seed hunting. and that is a gamble, $100 bucks for a roll, you get four females, and one of any number of phenos.

it hurts me, when I see an awesome seed grow, not re-vegged( or at least not openly) anyways now you know why people keep moms, or re-cloning moms for a decade.

We basically learned that the hard way, wasted a ton of electricity and nutes on some shitty clones with spider mites and bad genetics. And exactly as you said, i thought maybe i just wasn't fit for growing and maybe its my fault, but with some research i realized that the dispensary wants me to think that. If i start growing my own weed they would lose business, so why should they sell me good clones?
But these GDP will hopefully cover our loss, and the Scott's OG & Skywalker batch should put us positive from there.
I'm really crossing my fingers for 1gpw or at least something close.

Week 9, day 64 for the GDP. Really unsure about when they will finish, haven't seen much change in the past week. Trics yesterday were basically all cloudy, not 30% amber though more like 10%.
Anyone have any input?
Hopefully they wont go no longer than 70 days so we can get the next set of Scott's OG & Skywalker started.

Ya wow damn... they do still look pretty immature. But ya never know. I'm sure you're at the beginning or at least close to, the chop window right now at least.

So we started harvesting on day 70, went plant by plant, took a couple days. got it all drying, we will what they yield. The difference in the phenotypes was incredible, some of them had a strong Big Bud looks to them, while some had a more sativa/purple urkle. They do looks delicious though.

The Scott's OG & skywalker kush are now in 2 weeks into flower, under the GGL COB's, got a nice scrog going on, gave them a good trimming under the net. Its crazy the difference in the phenos

My GGL is an older model and the lenses can't be removed, but @BM9AGS had success. He just opened the fixture and the lenses "fell off" being held only buy the box itself against them. Are yours removable?

So we got around 380g of dry bud from the GDP, definitely well under our goal but its an improvement and not too bad for a first time run.

The Scott's OG & Skywalker are much better quality genetics, and we actually kept decent control of the canopy this time! Our last run was out of control we were not expecting or prepared for that kind of growth (being new to coco).
Hopefully these produce more.

The first set is 3 weeks into flower
3 Scott's OG & 2 Skywalker kush.
The scott's has a way more sativa pheno to it, insane stretch.

We planted the next 6 seeds.
2 Rare Dankness Scott's OG
2 Skywalker Kush
1 Barney's Critical Mass
1 Casey Jones
This time we are trying 70/30 coco/perlite

By your implied logic (implying that GDP seeds do not exist or are very rare for the REAL GDP), most seeds sold are a gimmick.
Yeah thats what i assumed.

My roomate ordered these seeds from www.marijuana-seeds.nl

They dont have a breeders name on them, this was before a lot of research into genetics. /facepalm
This next set is hopefully quality we can trust from the guys over at Rare Dankness & Reserva Privada!

grats on the harvest, if you gonna be buying gdp i'd suggest trying Grand Daddy Purp genetics, they got the closest to the clone only in my opinion.
