CA MTN MAN

Sorry guys, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just relating a story that happened in the 1980's. The BIL, like lots of young men in the sticks, used to hunt with dogs. I myself never cared for dog hunting. I don't like the way packs of dogs are kept, but it was the people who shied me off from it. Too much beer drank and too many shots fired before making sure there isn't other hunters in the area.

But deer hounds have been raised with a pack their whole life, and {for the most part} do not make good pets. In the 80's there was no Craig's List, and you did not give away a dog that was no good. It would be like giving a strain to your friend that you knew was prone to hermie. Keeping work animals is not the same as keeping pets.

These days the BIL raises Redbone Coon hounds. {most of which he sells to folks who have never taken a headlight and a single shot .22 into the woods at night} And as people get older they mellow. When his best bitch is having pups, he has been known to bring her in the house.

757, sorry for the hijack.
It's cool man I just really love my pups.. I'm one of those people that likes animals more than I like humans. Id shoot the BIL before I'd shoot a dog lol

im a baseball nut id love to be at something like that..ive played for over 20 yrs and only finished one season ago
I only watch the playoffs if the Yankees are in. Otherwise it's to slow for me. But this is what baseball should be! Dude hit like home runs 12 in a row. One was about 497 feet. Freaking crazy. Party atmosphere. Tons of microbreweries served up inside the stadium and some of the best food I've had at any stadium/arena.
