This is the beginning of a new grow, my third grow (excluding 3 half-ass horrible grows as a teenager), I have started from seed. This will be 3 Grandadddy Purple, 2 fem GHS Super Lemon Haze, 1 fem G13 Labs Pineapple Express. Hoping for 1 or 2 GDP because I would prefer to flower 4 or maybe 5. Thinking of adding a freebie cheese candy auto in a 2 liter bottle hempy for my girlfriend to play with.
Previous Bodhi: Dream Lotus grow is curing and pretty dank. Tastes good, happy soaring high with mild - moderate body stone, kind of a harsh narcotic come-down if you have low tolerance.

This is where we hang out and vaporize bowls while we literally watch them grow.

Things learned from last time...
- Mix well - at one point the root balls were retaining old acidic water like a sponge because I was being lazy relying on the air bubbles to mix the water for me.
- Get PH pen - Finally got a blue labs ph pen, so much better than the liquid drops for a hundred reasons. Still have liquid drops if second opinion is needed for ph.
- Ice bottles only swap out every 24 hours instead of 12. I was doing it twice a day, learned once a day is fine.
- Benes - I use only Aquashield now. I have found I need nothing else to keep water pristine and my res temps stay 66 - 71* I did not like the mushy chunks of barley in my roots from pond-zyme, but I was still using it to conserve Aquashield. When changing res once a week, I would dose with Aquashield, and 3 days later, add pond-zyme to hopefully feed the dying Aquashield (and conserve).
- Veg longer - I want larger plants. Last grow I had to get done because we were out of weed, so short veg.
- A few bubbles is not enough. I had some plants begin to slowly drown due to a lack of bubbles. I attribute this to using different lengths of air line, so some buckets with shorter air lines (less resistance) got more bubbles than others.
Changes this time...
- Air pumps will be suspended somehow inside tent. Same length hoses to each bucket. Small $1 air stones (was using baby food jar sized air stones).
- Switched ventilation system to use less air duct and have fewer bends. The result is more air flow and more noise. I will probably get a fan speed controller at some point.
- Bigger net pots. I want to see the difference when the roots have more hydroton/air.
- 18/6 veg photoperiod - was doing 20/4, probably not a big deal or difference but I want this grow to be the tried and true basics.
- No bloom boosters. I could of course change my mind later, but for now the plan is to stick with basics.
- Tap Water
- API Tap Water Conditioner
- Dyna-Grow Grow (or Bloom)
- Aquashield
- PH Up/Down
