Yes, you are absolutely right. Thats why i was thinking about a keg cup bubbler with a drip system and timer on the pump and a simple hole in the top of the cup for overflow. Then you just use a larger reservior that it drains into. You would have a 16oz root system and nutes. Seems a little over the top. I may just fill it with dirt and let it ride!

I'm not picky and I dont think it matters as long as it's in a party cup. I do wish we could use something slightly larger, but I'll just go with the flow.

Sounds good to me on the party cup and germ date.. Will there be a 2nd place, and a 3rd place? Just wondering..Since everybody's cup will finish at different times anyway, why dont we do the germination from Dec.20th until Jan 10th ? ... or is it going to get too messy? I am anxious to start

As much of a nightmare it could be, it could also produce a monster. No substrate to eat up the 16oz volume, more roots(you know what they say don't you)...
