Lots of bending and training, and it has been topped several times. I continually train and top to keep a nice bush shape until the plant starts to get near flower time, at which point I will no longer be topping, and only gently bending branches if really needed.
I prune the bottoms of my plants, and remove all the sucker buds at the bottom and anything else that could hang down and touch the dirt. Usually trim atleast the first foot on a plant this size.
The last few weeks have been very hot with absolutely no rain, so i have been watering it by hand, about 20 gallons a day and it drinks it right up.
For feeding, I don't measure the blood meal at all or mix it with the water, I just spread a generous amount around the base of the plant and water it in. I have been giving it more and more as I get comfortable, as I have not used blood meal before. It appears to be working well though as I have not seen a yellow leaf in weeks now, very deep green!
