Wondering if my 3 week old clone is doing well or should it be bushier?

Hey guys, I recently started my first grow about 3 weeks ago and am wondering if my plant looks healthy to any of you? I’ve had it for a little over 3 weeks. I will attach pictures of what it looked like 3 weeks ago and what it looks like today. It’s a clone I bought from a dispensary that was not rooted very well at the time of purchase. It was roughly 5 inches tall when I planted it and now it stands at about 14 inches. The strain is a hybrid of True OG crossed with Kush Mints and I am wondering if it should be bushier than this or if it appears to be growing normal? Also, it is in a 1 gallon pot at the moment but I have a 3 gallon pot on standby and am wondering when I should transfer her? Any input is helpful, thanks!

I have it about 20 inches above my plant that is in a 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft grow tent that stands 5 ft tall. You think I should lower it to 12 inches to get the most out of the actual wattage which appears to be 80?

Yes, & I would go with a viparspectra xs2000 or mars hydro tsw2000 at the very least if you wanna rock out that tent & get full genetic potential out of that plant. The rule of thumb is 30-50W per sq ft.

Do you think topping is better than fimming? Also, correct me if I’m wrong but the xs2000 is 2 ft by 4 ft? My grow tent is 2.5 ft x 2.5 ft.

I’m only at the end of my first grow but I tried literally everything on various plants.

Fimming was ok but topping was way easier and seemed to have a stronger and more immediate effect on bushing out.

Yeah the xs2000 is 2x4 but it has a dimmer knob. The light itself is actually pretty small.

I just looked a little deeper into and saw that it’s dimensions for the xs2000 are 22 x 11 x 3 inches. Can anyone confirm this? If it’s 4 ft then I won’t be able to fit in my tent.

Also, which light do you think is a better choice? Xs2000 or tsw2000? I noticed some poor reviews on the tsw2000 about having to maintain it constantly. Any feedback on which of these two? Does it matter?

One isn't better it's just different, topping removes the top completely, fimming only slows the top growth and lets the lower growth catch up but you still have a top come flower.

Fimming isn't something I practice during veg ime fimming and tipping i only use in early flower idk about others?

22” is just under 2ft. It’ll fit in your tent. They are just different. One is more rectangle one is more square. Both will rock out your tent. You can dim either one for veg to get better efficacy & blast them for flower. Just slowly increase the wattage at the beginning of flower for the first week or two

The tsl has a rectangular light pattern, so if you had a 2x4 tent, it would put down a pattern that fit your tent.

The tsw has a square light pattern, so if you had a 2.5x2.5 tent, it would put down a pattern to fit your tent.

In regards to topping or filming, I prefer to top my plants.

2x4 is just the area it can cover for flowering. The actual light is like a longer skinny tablet. 22” sounds about right
