Lots of bending and training, and it has been topped several times. I continually train and top to keep a nice bush shape until the plant starts to get near flower time, at which point I will no longer be topping, and only gently bending branches if really needed.

I prune the bottoms of my plants, and remove all the sucker buds at the bottom and anything else that could hang down and touch the dirt. Usually trim atleast the first foot on a plant this size.

The last few weeks have been very hot with absolutely no rain, so i have been watering it by hand, about 20 gallons a day and it drinks it right up.

For feeding, I don't measure the blood meal at all or mix it with the water, I just spread a generous amount around the base of the plant and water it in. I have been giving it more and more as I get comfortable, as I have not used blood meal before. It appears to be working well though as I have not seen a yellow leaf in weeks now, very deep green!

This will be my fourth time growing the strain and my second time outdoors :D Last year my OG kush was only in a 20 gallon pot, and the size difference of the plant from having it in a 65 instead is massive lol.

Last year my outdoor crop got hit pretty badly by a large storm, and then a hurricane weeks after. Snapchat-1373560322.jpgThis was last years OG kush, and I got just a few grams over a quarter pound.

I would stop feeding it blood meal. Especially when you get close to flowering way too much nitrogen. You need to up Phosphorus and Potassium in a couple weeks. If your top dressing especially the blood meal could feed the plant too much nitrogen in flowering messing up your buds. Id get some fish hydrolate bloom! I got some good stuff from boogie brew last year. Down To Earth Crab meal also is a good start transition to higher phosphorous and especially fish bone meal. Roots Organic terp tea is very good too for flowering! When did you plants flower last year? And do you brew tea?

Yea I havent fed it any blood meal for a while now, and it got bone meal early on that should be starting to become available for it soon.

I've never made tea or anything like that before, I'm still fairly new to using nutrients for them so I'm not really sure what the best things are yet, always open to advice on that sort of thing lol

I think that based on the last couple years it should start flowering in the next 2-3 weeks.
