yea that looks meaty welshy,how many is that killing the smell for?

It should cover 6 plants, as for now just 1 trainwreak.
It sucks the tent in with no vents open.

do you use the pasive vents for intake or do you use a intake fan down at the bottom ?

i use 1 of the passive's on the dr100,the room it is in has the window open all the time and the suction is such that it pulls the fresh air out of the room through the mesh vent....steady 78f

Good evening all

Ok,decided to update my journal simply because im bored!.
Gave them their final trim today allthough i might take 1 more node off each of them...depends on how they pan out over the next week.They're looking kinda skinny but have around another 2weeks growth,I chopped node 5 off today simply because i can tell its not gunna do much.The shortest plant is 30inches from the soil and the tallest is 35...lemmi know what you guys think...tnx


Oh yea...On a side note,when i chopped em today i threw a couple of clones in soil.Im not clued up when it comes to clones at all and im expecting them to die....any tips?

get those clones off the floor of the tent man get them a bit warmer and they will root faster. A propergator is best for clones so u can keep[ the humidity up.

yea i know westy,i'd just done em and took the pics,they are level with the canopy now off to the lefthand side of the tent where its 75f.I just threw them in there as i wasnt gunna do any clones in the tent...It's a half assed effort to be honest so im expecting half assed results =)

Super thrive works good for stimulating roots when cloning... and heat like west said. And never pull them out to check for roots... Ive made that mistake and the ones I did pull out ended up never rooting... Maybe I should go back in your post and read... but why didnt you top your plants?

i originally had 6 plants in a 100x100x600 space...it would have got too crowded in there if i'da topped them so i went for height to promote main cola growth.The reason im cutting them back so much is i want a big cola and reasonable buds from the 2 nodes underneath

as for the clones i forgot to say i cut em at 45degrees,dipped them in root complex and then into rooting powder before dropping them in soil.

Good luck with the clones... I dont have much space either... but the Brainstorm strain is a super fast flowering plant, So Im hoping it stays relatively small I topped it at 4 nodes. Had good luck in the past topping at 4 nodes... was getting 1 1/2oz to 2 1/2 oz per plant. I am hoping for similar results with these plants. I cant wait to see how yours end up flowering. I plan to do an outdoor grow this year too and wont be topping those....

Ooooo.... clones. I've never tried to root them directly in soil but it should work. You'll know in a couple days if it's working. They're most likely limp and flopped over right now but if they stand back up and aim their leaves towards the light it means they have access to moisture and should eventually root. I would call it quits on the pruning at this point. It's really a strategy for limited space, which is not so much a problem for you anymore. You get to a point of diminishing returns if you're removing branches that would have had adequate access to light. But yea I'm seeing the beginnings of buds in your pics.... exciting!

Yea they look dappa ocsar,im sure ive read that the leaves yellow before cropping as the buds pull the nutrients from them....good job mate

Ok guys the clones are up and looking for light,i cant believe as they had all drooped over yesterday and looked deader than elvis...now i just need them to root.More budsites have appeared overnight on the main stems of the 4 big uns,The pruning yesterday has done them no harm as they're all perky with their leaves up.....so all is good in Camp Warkrimez at the moment

yours are looking good. i'll try and take those pics down now you've seen them. they're not only yellow but burnt to a crisp and crumbling to bits. not long left so hopefully it wont matter too much.

thanks. its hard not tell people or show them what i'm doing coz you get so proud of them. i had my older brother (who gave me my first smoke) stay here for a couple of days and i didn't show him. but the two main reasons you get caught is telling people and stealing the electricity. other than doing this i'm in no way a criminal. i work 60 hour weeks so i have no time to be a scumbag..

I know exactly what you mean...3 people know that im growing apart from here,My fiance,my best mate of 25yrs and me!.Theres a guy about 10mins from my house who's just been busted with 100 or so plants in his loft.He was stealing electric the daft fuck and the electric company came round with the police,they took all his stuff and left a massive pile of soil in his front garden.Why the fuck would you steal electricity when your growing commercially????!

one simple reason greed. i should really get a carbon filter but i vent it straight outside and you can't smell it outside coz its out the back of the house and about 25 feet up and my neighbours are old fogeys. i can't smell it inside until i start messing about in there. i think i'll do a journal next time.
