yea this is what im thinking....i move the pots round every 24hrs and i spin the pots 90degrees at the same time...each plant and its sides have the optimum light in a 4 day cycle..If i take the relfector off when they stop growing i can get down in the canopy as theres only 4 plants left...SWEET..its a plan!

Just my 2 cents here... but I figure that bulb will still be too close to the plants to be hanging in the canopy with the limited space inside your tent compounded by the plants getting bushier... Maybe I am wrong but I know you would need more than 12 inches clearance from the bulb... which means that with a radius of 1ft multiply by 2 gets a diameter of 2ft... meaning an area with a circumference of just over 6 ft and an area of 3.14 sq feet. Do you think you can manage to get an area that large open and take into account that the plants are going to "reach" toward that light once they are stationary? Meaning you would more realistically need about a 16 inch clearance from the bulb to the plants on all sides? Just wanted to add my 2 cents for consideration before efforts are wasted or even worse unnecessary harm comes to your plants... Hopefully you do have the room though...

Hi brainstorming,yea i understand totally what you mean mate but im not gunna drop it right into the canopy...If i get it level with the 4 main colas i "should" have enough space to do it and it "should" give me better canopy penetration.Don't forget that i will be measuring the distance on a diagonal line so hopefully the space won't be an issue.i say hopefully as i had the same concerns as brainstorming however heat is not an issue as the rvk fan and filter pulls all the heat out of the tent.As my plants get taller i can use the reflective properties of the tent to bounce light off the top and sides(99% reflectivity if there is such a word haha)
So this is my thinking behind taking the reflector off,as mared says this probably will not work well till the plants stop growing and by that time hopefully they shoud be around 4-5ft.My dr100 is 6ft which should enable me to bounce the light around.This is the theory anywayz haha

I've got almost exactly the same set up as you and doing the same strain. I'm 7 weeks into flower the second round (clones from the first round). I'm too paranoid to do a journal though. Good job

nice one oscar,how they fattening up and how many u growing?.....dude growing 4 plants for personal use is hardly the crime of the century.Infact i find it more criminal giving cash to the local scallies for weed who do god knows what with it.

I've got 2 ww's and 3 jack herers. the ww's are pretty big and frosty and i think i'll let them go for nine weeks coz there are hardly any brown/red hairs yet. I got 12 oz from my first grow. Its sooo amazing smoking weed you've grown yourself.

that 12oz was from 4 ww plants

no its a 600w in a 1m x 1m x 1.8 budbox they were crammed in pretty tight by the end. I think i vegged them too long coz i ended up with a bit bud of rot as they were so close to each other. I've got 5 in there this time (2 ww, 3jh) i didn't veg them as long this time so hopefully no bud rot this time and they are nowhere near as tall as the last time.

Agreed. The real crime is how these pushers handle their weed. It's simply disgusting the condition they put them through sometimes. I could take a crap strain and have it smoke better than most of the "quality" street buds, just cause it's homegrown and taken care of/dried/cured properly.. Simply a shame.

nice oscar,whats the heat like in there with a 600...i was toying with buying a 600 in the beginning but opted for the 400 due to heat build up and signature.

it was really bad until i got a 5 inch ruck fan and that sorted it. i have it running constantly and that keeps the temp at about 27/28 i haven't got a carbon filter (could be a mistake) so that makes the airflow a bit better

carbon filter cuts the smell dead in a growtent,i dont smell a thing till i poke my head in there.Highly recommended...Any chance of you posting some pics?

i've only got a phone camera and no lead to connect it to the computer. i can borrow one at the weekend and i'll take some pics then and work out how to put them on. i'm still paraniod though. do you know if people get their collars felt coz of putting stuff on here?

Any recommendations for a 3x3? (my grow you're prob familiar with)

i dunno tbh,its my first grow..if you feel uncomfortable don't do it.....I'm in no way a criminal,i go to work,come home,pay my bills and spend all my spare time with my family.i grow weed for 2 reasons...
1.i like to smoke quality weed but its too damn expensive to buy.Ive smoked it 20yrs and is my only vice.
2.I shudder to think what my money is used for when i buy weed "eslewhere"

If i'm deemed a criminal then that is just sad,i like to think that i live in one of the most "Forward Thinking" countries in the world.

Hi wicked
your room will deffo start to smell...is it sealable like a growtent or is it a room?...3 weeks into veg and i came home from work and could smell it down my hallway...that was 6 plants mate....since ive used the fan and filter i can stand next to the tent and not smell a thing until i unzip it...if its a house room then i suppose its gunna smell worse...i do recommend the filters for sure...As for which 1 i dunno.

i'll think about it. i go to work and pay bills too. the reason i started to grow was i moved to a new area and i didn't know anyone (still don't).

As for smell I use a 35 w fan and filter running 24hrs.
