Another advantage - when you are living near a forest or in the country side - is that there is more CO2 in the air at night. Plants emit CO2 at night. And when you have your lights on, your plants benefit from it.Now I'm flowering, from 6pm to 6am.
That's cool! I didn't know that. I live in a forested areaAnother advantage - when you are living near a forest or in the country side - is that there is more CO2 in the air at night. Plants emit CO2 at night. And when you have your lights on, your plants benefit from it.
In the city it can be the other way around. Cars and traffic exhaust CO2. It is most of the time busier with traffic during day time.
I had actually thought about this since my peak usage time is 3-8pmSomething else you can do to fight the heat is to grow on a flip schedule, where the majority of the time the lights are on is at night and morning. I'm actually doing this right now. I vegged them from 6pm to noon. Now I'm flowering, from 6pm to 6am. Really helps maintain temps, even on hot days.
Generally you will want x10 total water volume turnover/hr this will cover you for as big of plants as you want imo. You can get away with less if you are growing smaller plants but it's a good general rule of thumb. So you may want a bit bigger pump.Yea hopefully I'll be able to afford it next go around. You think a 1k water pump will work?
