1st grow, bagseed/Iced G./Rocklock/Easyryder CFL(maybe CMH too)

I've looked at a lot of pictures and the only think that it looks like is zinc def. but I think thats an overdiagnosis, my guess is over fert, its an easy ryder, which I know is sensitive to too much fert fed it botanicare pro grow and some pro bloom(at different feedings) both at no more than 1/4 strength, its sister(both are at aboout 30 days?) is much better shows minimal signs similar... fed both a couple of gallons of 7.0 water after this showed up, no change so far(2 days later)?? ideas? nute lockout perhaps? have always phed the water to 6.5-7.0, in fox farm ocean forest under a 150 watt cmh bulb, they both seem pretty healthy except for color.

ezryders are now 9 and 11 inches tall! if color was better I'd be thrilled

thanks, so far it ahs been an effortless plant, feed it pretty close to full strangth nutes(botanicare pro gro and bloom) no problems whatsoever, not much smell so far though , in fact none I can tell yet, which is fine by me the badseed is plenty stink for all

saw my first trichomes today(is that pronounced trike omes or trick omes?) on the bagseed, on what I believe are called the sugar leaves. the little leaves coming out of where all the little white hiars are bunching up..cool ordered a 400 watt cmh bulb also

I also got a super deal on an old bake a round tube, gonna try to make a cool tube out of it. like 15$, couldnt pass it up, with the 400 watt hps in there its pretty hot

pics later today, think I will add the Coletrain to the flowering cab today, mostly out oof neccesity. The Easyryder I've been having yellowing issues with has reached the cmh bulb in the cab with the 2 ERs and the coletrain, I have another cab that is 5 inches taller,
but it only has space for the 2 ERs.... which considering a week ago I was thinking I'd be lucky if they even got to one foot tall is not a bad problem to have

Have to work on the cool tube for the flowering cab today, I think for the moment I will make it at a fixed height, with any luck I think the bagseed has stopped its stretch

oh, I watered the bagseed and the iced grapefruit with one gal each tap water and full strength Tiger Bloom. Ive been worried about the heat in there with the 400 watt hps(94 at the top of the cab, but thats at least a foot above the canopy) but they seem fine actually, no sign of heat stress, will try to hang the thermo from a chain at the canopy to see what its like there

took all day yesterdau to get the cool tube working but its dropped temps 10 degrees! I need to check and see if pyrex stops UVB since I have the cmh coming and that is one of its nest properties. pics after the sun comes up, have to move the easy ryders into a new cab.

have the cmh in the big cab now, not in cool tube for the moment. here are my problem children, the easyryders, have given them epsom salt water and foliar fed the worst one with eosom.....
looking somewhat better but now there are a few yellow leaes with brownish veins? thank god the plants(non-autos) in the big cab are good. I think the ERs are heat stressed again, not sure what I can do, getting to close to the bulb(150 watt cmh) they are now 19 and 21 inches tall, 2 e=weeks ago they were both under 5 inches I think

well, I was in one of my what the hell moods yesterday and supercropped one of the easyryders, it was about to hit the top of tha cabinet and while yes I know you shouldn't do it in flower, or especially with autos and their limited life span, eh, what the heck, first grows are for learning. Plus thes 2 are just giving me nothing but grief, and yes I know its my fault so far this morning, it is looking ok actually , all the flowers, leaves are pointing up now, well, thats why they call it 'sperimenting! looking abck, 12 days ago this plant was 5 inches tall, at time of supercropping it was 22 inches tall, 17 inches growth in 12 days... whocoodanode? here she is

you can see the one I had to supercrop on the left, it weas at 22" plus the 8 inch pot so at 30 incehes which is the height of the cab.... plus I have my doubts about them anyway so experiment time

the bagseed is at 29 days flowering(since first white hairs) so about halfway thru maybe? the grapefruit is finally starting to show more than just a few scattered hairs

life is just too busy sometimes.....hairs on the ezryders are turning red,lots of them so i tested out a nug,dried at 200 for 30 min,worked good,took a few big hits because I wasnt expecting much....jeez,some really decent shit of course I havent had any for 6 months,but not too bad atall!
a little too head trippy,a little paranoid, tried to get some macros but the best I could do was see that the trichs were mostly milky, no amber so its going for a little while more, getting a 30x loupe saturday so I can see whats going on. Damn,it really is pot !!!

I ended giving my girl (iced G.) another dose of tiger bloom... I figure if i have another 3 weeks atleast i might as well not back off on the nutes... i tried squeezing acouple of the buds to stress them and see if they swell up, a friend of mine told me it works. but i agree with ya on the little smell she has which is not a bad thing at all!!! i just recently (on the 15) sprouted Dutch Passion's Taiga which is a hybrid auto flowering cross with Power Plant... supposedly its finished in 9 weeks total... we will see!!

thanks for dropping by! yeah, it has very little smell, even when youre right up on it, fine by me, all the others make up for it. Ive given my iced g full strength tiger bloom sometimes 2-3 feedings in a row with no visible bad effect, plus Ive given it full strength pro grow and pro bloom in the same feeding(botanicare, I got a little 3-pack for like 10$ on sale) it just sucked it up. its in a 2 gal. laundry basket lined with landscape fabric, a little experiment of mine, dries out pretty quick, which is fin by me since I tend to overwater

easy ryder is pretty decent amoke right now, especially since I see not a hint of amber trichs yet. Dried it in my vaporizer at 212F for about 35 minutes, smoked pretty decent
heres the EZs: with a closeup of each main cola...looks to be 2 weeks left?





Bagseed is basically just sitting there, the side buds seem to be groeing but the main cola doesnt, may be fatter though, hard to tell.. 7 full weeks since the first pistils showed up and trichs are at best half cloudy, if that far, she is 6 times as tall as when she went into flower... Im guessing sativaish ya think?

Coletrain(on the left in the pics with the Iced G) is doing well, supercropped it for heights sake, seems fine 2 days later , starting to get real buds....Iced Grapefruit is just chuggin along, budding out very nicely, its at 4 weeks since first pistil, bet it will go 10 weeks
really thin leaves, plenty of 11-13 leafsets, is pretty sativaish pheno of the Iced G? very little smell, none really. Iced g on the right in the pics, coletrain left....Iced G. main cola

Your grow is looking good mate, I'm growing 2 easy ryders myself if you check out the journal in my sig. I'm hoping mine dont get much taller and outgrow my cab right now.
