Were you able to get the temps down doc? I'd like to know what works for ya because like highlow's box most I've seen use both an exhaust and an intake fan not just a passive inlet. Maybe some smoke tests are in order to see what really works better. :D

I'm saying a passive inlet (one with no fan in the way, only outlet fan/s) should be better and that the inlet hole should be larger than the exhaust. What I would try is removing the 3" fan and seeing if the temps go down any. If they do then I'd think about making that 3" a second outlet...

I don't know how your exhaust ports are but the inlet should be bigger than the outlet if at all possible, same size at the very least and having two fans running like that may actually decrease the airflow through the box. The 5" should be trying to push more air out than the 3" can pump in...
