    2,000 watt exhaust help plz

I take it your on a passive intake then... That large of a room you need something larger than 450cfm to cool two 1k lights sucking through a carbon filter as well. How big of a filter are you using? I would really consider a much higher cfm fan.

DIY Geothermal Cooling for a 10x10 room with 4 600W HPS

Most basic answer I can give as you would have to design the overall setup and mounts... consider running cold water through a vehicle radiator type object with a fan blowing through the coils instead of sucking. That would cool down some air but depending on your environment and temps without...

4X8 plywood grow box. 2K watts. venting? a/c? help!!!

The claims that it will be overly hot are only partially true. I did have a heat issue when I first begun, but insulation on the walls and ceiling fixed that. Its over 100a outside and my room peaks at 78 degrees mid day with all equip on and a portable a/c. Its completely possible, but if in a...

4X8 plywood grow box. 2K watts. venting? a/c? help!!!

depends where you are... certain states require a warrant before they can even use FLIR. so... anything found with FLIR without a warrant, inadmissible in court. i just hate when people automatically drop the same old mythical answer about FLIR and growing. yes.. it can be seen and yes it is...

Need some advice on electricity for the new 10x12 room

For the size of that room I would say upgrade the main panel in the house. You can then have a sub panel dropped into the basement from a 100amp breaker in the main box (100amps should be sufficient. You can bump it up if need be). Once you have that sub panel in, you have the ability to drop...

Wiring my fans - prefessional electrical guidance please !

If its a 230-240v fan, then it needs to be wired into a 240 plug. 240 is two hot lines from your breaker box without a neutral line. The white and black wires will need to both be hot and the green grounded as apposed to the black hot, white neutral, and green grounded. If out don't get it...

small grow with heating issues? maybe i have the cure on the cheap!

Well I started off like most of us with a small little room and one or two ladies. When I had my first room up and running (about the size of a closet) I started running into some pretty big heating issues. I took a bit of time to think how to best cool my room while keeping humidity proper, and...
